mi señor padre tenía una interesante colección de estos discos fase4 me recuerdo escucharlos en su equipo cuadrafonico y recuerdo estás melodías pero a su muerte ya saben llega la familia metiche y venden todo en pro de su fanatismo religioso pensando que no tenía valor para los deudos soy melomano y con gusto por musica de muy variados géneros entre ellos lo que escuche en la niñes gracias por el compartir estos ejemplares .

Vergleicht man Fritz Langs Film „Der müde Tod“ mit dem nur zwei Jahre älteren Film des Regisseurs „Harakiri“, wird eine erstaunliche Steigerung deutlich, sowohl, was schauspielerische Lockerheit, als auch Humor, Stilbewusstsein, Atmosphäre, Flüssigkeit der Erzählung, literarische Qualität der (überlangen) Zwischentitel sowie die Konstruktion des Gesamtfilms angeht. War im Film „Harakiri“ von 1919 noch alles irgendwie klapprig aneinander geschnitten, die Interieurs mehr oder weniger offensichtlich Bühnen-Staffage so ist hier ein Stilwille am Werk. Im Nachhinein deutlich zum Fremdschämen ist die hemmungslose Chinoiserie, auch sind die Binnenerzählung und Rahmenerzählung nicht wirklich schlüssig miteinander verknüpft. Beispielsweise ist auch aus filmsymmetrischen Gründen die große Frage, warum nach den drei Träumen der jungen Frau, in welchen auch nicht ganz klar wird, ob sie es selbst ist, die in diesen drei Rollen den Tod ihres Liebhaber nicht verhindern kann, - warum also nach diesen drei Episoden noch die Suche nach Menschen stattfinden muss, die im Austausch für das Leben des Geliebten selber bereit sind, zu sterben. Insgesamt hat der Film aber deutliche Höhen, besonders was die Filmarchitektur und die Trickeffekte angeht. Wie rassistisch Deutschland damals war, lässt sich wie gesagt insbesondere an der chinesischen Episode ablesen. Obwohl es in Hamburg ein chinesisches Viertel gab, werden Chinesen so behandelt, als wären sie Wesen vom anderen Stern, oder als wäre die chinesische Kultur freie Verfügungsmasse für ein Slapstickformat. Fast ist es schon wieder belustigend, mit welcher Selbstverständlichkeit ohne irgendwelche Recherche zur chinesischen Kultur Versatzstücke zusammengeklöppelt werden, um ein ‚drolliges‘ Zaubermärchen zu erzählen.

Very good, for the time it was made. Wonder how long it took to make the invention? And the tech skill to make the cars come out of the eggs shows that the film producers were ahead of their time. I hope there will be more of these old time movies. Many of them rival those made in the U.S.A. Music was very nice.

Thanks, I've been looking for this version for a long time. I listened to it when I was young and I feel a lot of nostalgia listening to it again. I searched for it for years but this version was nowhere to be found. The passage at 41:51 is particularly strong. Thank you Peter Osborne and thank you Cortos y Música !
