I live in northern NB and own a '87 Transam A4U Canadian Players Challenge Series car (one of 22) that I restored many years ago to as close to original when it was raced in the series. Wow! This is Pretty Cool my first car after getting my D. L. was a 1976 455 4 speed Trans Am and Trans Am’s have always been my favorite My Dad got each of my 2 older Brothers and I a new car Graduation from HS my middle Brother got a Brand New 1981 Z28 since I had driven that 76 T/A my Dad had actually bought car brand new and oldest Brother drove Hard for a year my Dad drove a little till I was able to drive and I drove that Really fast fun T/A my Dad and I talked about getting the T/A restored to like new it only had 28 thousand miles when I parked it but in order to still be alive so I can comment on your channel my Dad picked out my new car I was such a T/ A guy a friend and I skipped class to ride the bus 2 hours plus to Dallas my Dad had made arrangements for me to go pick up my new car my brother took us to a Chevrolet dealership in Dallas and the salesman took me to his office before I even saw the car or knew what I was getting my Brother and friend got to go see so finally he takes me to show room floor and it was a 1982 Z28 3rd gen and it was A pretty car Maroon and maroon interior it was Cool and I drove back home couldn’t wait to drive to school next morning and that car made me so popular and it did improve my Love Life that car had the Best handling but the 305 V 8 and metric transmission was the pits Ok at first but I believe if it had the Chevrolet 243 V6 it would have been faster but our Chevrolet dealership was slow getting new ones in yet and I was 1 of a few and at 1 time only Maroon Z28 that car caught everyone’s eye eventually a guy I knew had gotten one same color and first thing he did was replace the 305 with a 350 and a matching transmission junked the other Oh man that was a fast car nearly killed him I was down on the look of the 3rd gen T/ A’s at first I have since seen a few I like I miss that Z 28 every once and a while such an 80s car did alot in that car. This is Cool seeing these cars like new

Im happy to see alot of these third gens still alive and well, not a lot of them in general left in Canada. I have an 86 Trans Am t top, bright red with the stock red and grey interior, built 350 sbc with 425 hp, the 700R4 is a tank of a transmission.

My 87 formula Firebird is just about done just put a motor in it and transmission had it stored for 28 years it’s got a nice little 383 going to be hitting the highway soon hasn’t been out of the garage for 10 years but that’s my road warrior car my 92 RS heritage just took top 30 in the car show this weekend I’ll be posting some videos soon I missed you guys his car meet I didn’t know it was going on I’m here in Ohio Nice looking Camaro really clean drive safe later bye

I have owned the following new: '84 Z28,h.o,5.0,t-tops,'87 Firebird Formula 350,'891/2 Formula 350,'90 Camaro iroc z. 5.7. Loaded. These were nice cars. Starting in '93 I switched to Corvettes as my income increased. Those F bodies were very good looking. Not as many of them still exist as one might guess.
