@@isabelle-haedaddictwithcra9641 sometimes I do things together! I like to try and have an even amount of packages for each kid to open if I can.
Those are sandwich bags not freezer bags.

I bought a LV bag luxrul years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences

Great haul. I've never tried Walmart pick up service. I usually use Superstore.
Would the store allow you to bring back the empty boxes? They could reuse them for another customer, and you'd be rid of the mess too ! Just a thought!

We gave up all snack foods about 3 years ago and started making all of our own. I'm and ingredient list reader so try and purchase things without corn syrup, high fructose, enriched flour, natural flavors and things with nitrates and such. Its made such a difference on our health. We also grow a massive garden in our backyard so we don't rely on the grocery store for our produce. We try and buy only organic options but sometimes the prices are a bit much.
That’s awesome! We have a small garden but a pretty short growing period here in BC, but we do have fruit trees and a blueberry bush and I can fruit to last us the winter 😊
We’re in the middle too. I prefer being an “ingredient” household and making our own snacks or snacking fresh fruits or veg and hummus, but I definitely do keep some snacks for convenience for busy days! I guess it’s all about striking a balance.
It’s hard to find a balance sometimes! I find myself focusing on healthy meals and try not to worry as much about snacks.

Great ideas for simple meals! I always buy the 1 kg of feta vs smaller packages (unless they are cheaper per 100g) and it lasts a really, really long time in the back of my fridge.
I have followed this case through the years too. I was about the same age as Reena when this happened to her and I remember how shocking it was. I read Rebecca Godfrey’s book ages ago and still think about it. I had no idea it was made into a show. I will definitely have to check it out.
The first episode was incredible. They really did the story justice. At least in the first episode.

If you are looking for a non fiction book, Survival in Auschwitz is amazing! I would also recommend Lisa’s War and The Hiding Place 😊 I haven’t read The Book Thief yet but I’m looking forward to it and have heard it’s great!
