Hey Ben! Welcome back to the game, brother. So items in Pred are divided into tiers 1, 2, and 3. Most of the items you know are Tier 3, things like Sky Splitter, Megacosm, Mutilator, etc. In order to build these items, you start with base components called Tier 1 items (short swords, codex, etc). These items ABSOLUTELY do provide a small stat buff. Once you acquire enough gold, you can buy tier 2 items that provide more stats, and usually a passive ability. Whenever you have the opportunity to back and buy items, you should do so! That's free power you're leaving on the board if you dont! Hope that makes sense.

@@superbeatgaming makes sense. Is there a way to pre group items into a set for build path, so only those items show up in the shop screen? I really liked the deck system in Paragon, made building more straightforward as there wasn't any extra stuff you didn't need on display when buying. I also liked how it forced strategic deck building, you could build just for the best case scenario but it was a skill to allow room for counter cards for specific scenarios as well. I guess the beauty of having all the items at your disposal all the time is you can always counter build for any game scenario you come across.

@Ben_Gates unfortunately not yet. There is the "recommended" tab in the shop that does a decent enough job at limiting your scope to some decent items to build, but there's no way to pre-save build paths...yet. But you're correct that in having everything at your disposal, you're able to counter whatever, whenever. Just takes some getting used to is all.

I'm sorry friend. There is an extraordinary amount of information to learn before this game starts making sense, and I think that unfortunately stems from the tutorial (or lack thereof). I can't force you to stay, but I do offer free coaching if you want another set of eyes to try and make sense of things!

This game is about positioning, you can’t just push the other team, even if they are just 1 level above you. High chance they will kill you, it’s a very team based game. so if their jungles is rotating and ganking more than your then it’s pretty much gg
