Lee was an amazing Vocalist as well as one of the finest drummers ever!! As I saw recently in an interview with Mick - difference between Deep Purple and Heep - they had One Singer, We Had FIVE!! Been with Heep since Very 'Eavy, this brought tears to my eyes... My favourite Band, none compare!!

My first concert was Heep at the Glasgow Apollo in 1973 I was just going on 14 and they changed my world, loved seeing Lee happy jamming with the boys wee bit teary with the nostalgia of it all, god bless all of them past and present, still very heavy still very humble.

I saw them in Ikaalinen Spa in Finland, they were great! Good tight band, and Mick Box is a really good guitarist.

To bad Yngwie Malmsteen can’t play with musicians of this talent level 😢..

i don't really care that only Mick Box remains as the one original member. He's kept the band alive and is entitled to keep the name. They've put out some top notch rock music over the past 30 -40 years since the likes of Bernie Shaw and Phil Lanzon joined. Long may it continue!

People didn't like High and Mighty but it had Confession, Footprints in the Snow, Weep in Silence, Midnight, Can't Keep a Good band down and Woman of the World. Hensley said he treated it as another solo album because the band wasn't really wasn't into the task at hand. But the aforementioned songs make it a decent Heep album imo.
