To me, the main thing is target fixation but additionally, I would have down shifted it from 6th gear as you need more traction through the corner as you have just overtook the SUV and you are not ready for the turn.

I've experienced something similar. Didn't gauge the turn and speed correctly. Had I turned into it more aggressively I would have dumped it for sure. Instead I was able ride it out through a gravel shoulder with waist high weeds while bouncing over a couple rock mounds, within inches of a rock wall. Didn't dump it that day but learned a valuable and cheap lesson. Stay safe brother.

The problem is not learning how to ride but thinking you know how to ride? That was very challenging to do lol. You passed a car and crashed by fixating.. This is level 1 in riding skills.

If I can give you some advice, don't keep the gears too high before a bend but above all during, it keeps the bike strong so as not to go wide in the bend because a high gear tends to pick up more speed instead with the engine braking it helps you close the curve is better

It looks like u used the clutch and brake while slowing down and in a curve whitch made the bike wobble. My guess is should have left in gear to slow down. ???? What do yall think
