To adjust the fairing so that all rubber pads are making contact with the roof, loosen the knobs on all 4 of the mounting brackets and adjust the angle until the fairing sits how it is supposed to. Then tighten up those knobs one at a time while simultaneously holding the fairing in position to ensure it does not shift while tightening. Hope this helps.

Hi Frederic, Thanks for watching our video. Unfortunately, the saying goes that a box on your roof is a box on your roof. Noise at highway speeds is almost to be expected, and we don't believe going to the smaller model box would make much difference. The wind fairing may help, but could also potentially make the problem worse as it will restrict airflow underneath the box, sending most of that turbulent air into the bottom of your box. It's hard to say as the vehicle's aerodynamics play a big part in rack noise as well. One possible solution would be to adjust the box further back on your crossbars for less overhang of the nose of the box.

Probably you are using very cheap and noisy roof bars!

Hello, thanks for checking out our video! The clicks you are referring to come from within the torque limited tool. As long as you are using the Thule supplied tool keep tightening until you hear this indicator letting you know it's properly tightened. If you are not using the Thule supplied tool, we strongly recommend you purchase the tool from Thule, or see your closest Thule retailer and have them lend you a tool to check your rack is tight. Thanks for watching our video! It's best practice to tighten the speed knob while simultaneously rocking the bike rack side to side to help eliminate all the play in the rack in the hitch receiver tube. Once this has been achieved that's a good spot to stop tightening. Hope this helps!

Thanks for watching! Thule does have a system available for that roofline of the Outback. However, the attachment of this Thule system is clamping onto the existing rail system, as opposed to the Yakima which is replacing the stowable bar system. We have found that the Yakima system for the Outback in this application is the only one of the two worth the upgrade over the factory crossbars

Unfortunately you are correct. We have heard rumor of a new version releasing eventually, although we have not heard much else as of yet.

For this vehicle the roundbar size is 48". The size bar you will need will ultimately be determined by your vehicle as there is a spec for each vehicle fit

Hi Andres, this Yakima system has a weight rating of 165 lbs. Since the weight rating comes from how structurally sound the railings running the length of the roof are, it does not change the weight capacity of the system. This setup just provides a more useable crossbar compared to the OEM flip-out crossbars. Hope this helps!

Holes are required to be drilled for the drainage tubes. Typically we will drill into the removable caps located at the front of the bed as they can be replaced if you remove the cover and sell the truck. Hope this helps!

For the rear door seal inserts on the golf, you will want to place the insert into the door seal in a way that centers the middle of the seal insert with the clamp going into the door jamb. This will ensure even pressure on the seal insert. Hope this helps!
