Big turbo chance. Really ?
just confirm.. do you have to ground the pump?
Another thing that I found is that even with the old style silver controller it WILL fit on top of the tank underneath that cover. I tucked mine towards where the factory controller bracket is. No need to stick behind trim or under the seat cushion where it will overheat.
@A2B Motorsport Does the OEM Map still do something? Or is it just a blank connector you plug in? From what i heard the 5bar map sensor makes the car behave weird at lower RPM's any truth in that?
i just installed this kit and i'm getting a P025A fuel pump module open circuit 2015 VW GTI, anybody ever had this issue before?
guess ya fixed it huh? =)
can we get a MQB g25/30 big turbo kit install step by step would be great to know and see how it looks and the process. thank you.
That boost tap has so much play connecting into the manifold, it must have boost leak
hey does this kit work on the 1.8tsi ea888 gen 3 MQB?
One thing that is worth mentioning and missed in this video is where that large connector came from. I installed this kit yesterday and had a moment where I wondered why I had a connector with nowhere to connect. Then I realized its tucked just under the floor on top of the tank. In this video its already disconnected because of a previous module installation
Did you have any issues with not receiving any information from the level sensor?
@@smitherzz001 no.
@@smitherzz001 it still show you the fuel level but it had a error code that says like fuel level resistance too high
@@josepaez98 Im getting a fuel tank malfunction fault says covering for fuel level sensor 2 resistance to high and showing no fuel in the tank on a full tank
my map works except when I use your harness? How can I tell if it's bad? I am getting a p0106 code sensor out of range?
Your tune has to be set up for it to work correctly
Where is the body control module?
nevermind found it sorry
why do you have an extra connector for the fuel pump? I don't see the big connector from the car I understand you have one because you said a controller was previously installed on the car but what about the rest of us?
Did you figure out why there was an extra Connector
It’s plugged in to the factory controller tucked just out of view. At first I didn’t see it either. Between the car floor and top of the tank.
@@burb17 you’re talking about the small connector right ? Or are you talking about a bigger connector
@@smitherzz001 I was referring to the large one
@@burb17 OK great just making sure because I believe that little small to pin connector is going to be extra
Just an FYI. It should pin 3. not pin 2 for purple/black
Hey Billy, thanks for the vid, can you confirm what C Petti said ^. Thanks
@@Kevin_MK7RSR check the description
@@bikorboy33 At 6:14 in the video Billy says Pin 2 is purple and black, C Petti and I would just like to confirm he misspoke and it is in fact supposed to be Pin 3. I'm assuming it is, but it's good to know for sure in any wiring situation where you could fry something by mis-wiring it.
@@Kevin_MK7RSR yea he misspoke. Correct info is in the description
@@bikorboy33 I realize that, thank you. 👍🏻. It would just be good if the creator could confirm the discrepancy.
Great video and perfect timing!
