But in order to have a two way intellectual engagement the talk merits a deeper analysis of successes and achievements of the West, Without mentioning those facts frequent quotes from Iqbal's poetry is unfair treatment of the Subject matter. The lack of well researched data exposing forte of Western Civilization viz a viz deterioration of Islamic civilization is kind of an offset from Topic. Comparative analysis of substantive data of scientific advancements from areas like advent of Transportation systems, Telecommunication systems, Artificial intelligence based medical intervention for therapeutic purposes, urbanization, modern shipping , advancement of International trade & commerce and emergence of E-commerce with reference to Institutional failures of Islamic society would have made this talk more interesting and Cosmopolitan in appeal.
