I think that its brilliant. Oasis are excellent and this reunion is a good reason to be excited. It was 1995 when I first moved to Edinburgh in 1995 that Oasis were just breaking. I love watching Oasis live on RUclips and once saw them at Glastonbury. Its the working class Northern English thing I love it. I would love to see the Edinburgh show.

I've seen them 8 times. I would love to see them again but at the same time I really, really hope they keep the ticket prices down. It would be incredibly cool of them to not charge stupid amounts for tickets - a lot of artists like to pretend they don't have any control over ticket prices and act like they're at the whim of the promoters, but there is no way that big artists with the clout of Springsteen, U2, the Stones, and Taylor Swift couldn't do something about it if they wanted to. It would be a great statement if Oasis kept general admission to, say, £80 at the most. It would make a great statement, particularly from a band who (still) likes to tout themselves as the 'band of the people'.

I'm not a fan, they have some good tunes and I enjoyed the 2016 documentary though. You mentioned 15Y/Os getting into them, but I doubt they'll be able to afford tix.
