[CS 330 - A02 / W17] Hi everyone - I'm so happy people are finding this video useful! Please know I made this for a school project and was not expecting it to get so many views. I will leave it up on this channel for as long as people still need it. Perhaps one day DoodleIT will make a comeback :) -Ren

where did you go
you saved my life I had been digging through the internet for an hour trying to find someone to explain this to me so simply. I have midterms next week and i felt so stupid not being able to understand how this works
TCP/IP has four layers that work together to help computers communicate over the internet. The first layer is called the "Link Layer," and it's responsible for sending and receiving data on the physical network. The second layer is the "Internet Layer," which helps the data find its way to the right destination using IP addresses. The third layer is the "Transport Layer," which breaks up the data into smaller packets and makes sure they all arrive at their destination without errors using TCP. The fourth and final layer is the "Application Layer," which is where all the different programs and services that use the internet (like web browsers and email clients) communicate with each other.
