This is is when the car seating at a traffic light.
That is a catalytic converter
I have this same problem now
Think it was an exhaust leak, was a few years back.
My Nissan is cold natured , have to warm up all the time or it sounds horrible until it does warms up while driving if cold.
Do you have to replace the headers for the best rumble and is the this the 2.0 flat 4 right ?
Yes to both question
Nice. What exhaust is this
❤
Finna 🥜
Does it happen when in neutral? Or just when driving?
Wtf did i just watch and waste my time with? 🥴🥴🥴
That sentence took twice as long to type tho.
You only see the bad reviews because reviews are built on emotion. An angry customer, It’s like they see it as their chance at revenge. Stomp on their reputation! This company sells thousands of turbos, do the math on the online reviews, good vs bad. Then tell me emotion has nothing to do with it! Sadly, happy customers don’t really write reviews.
how have the turbos held up?
It work fine but I swapped the turbos out again for more power.
Like s**t, i got them and barely put 2000 miles on them today they blew like hell...
Mine has an annoying sound which does sound like an exhaust leak, I got a whole new catalytic converter but it didn’t go away at all, could it be the manifold? Also my right engine mount is broken so idk if that could be a cause of a sound
Was it the manifold converter?
Had the same problem sounds like.
Manifold
Yes, that's the ridiculous belt inside the transmission about to explode.
its the catalytic
did you find out about the problem
@warn or any one I have the same problem with my Nissan tiida how did you fixed it????
the noise is a exhaust leak the idle is normal should quite down if you fix the exhaust
@@natejs6351 I respectfully disagree with your diagnosis. Rather, in most cases, this symptom is caused by a dirty TB (Throttle Body) and MAF (Mass Air Flow) "sensors".
@@MrPatdeeee I agree with you...mad air flow also needs to proper specs as for the aftermarket does no justification.
Hey @warn question? I need your help my car doing this same exactly thing how did you get it fixed???
Or any one that's here who go tru this same thing can help please!!!! I'll really appreciate it
Please read the comment to Jorge Jimenez' post.
Clean the throttle body fixed my issue but its true i will never buy a nissan lroduct again . Wife has 2008 altima coupe cvt transmission went out at 80,ooo miles also issues with cd player noy working any longer , the dash is also a horrible problem it hst suoer sticky and gunky when its hot outside parts of the dash are now melted and shine with the suns reflection causing a glare in the glass making hard to see when driving you see the dash reflection in the glass . And now struggling with a rattling noise coming from the passanger side dashboard. Nissan is no longer a good product . They think because people have a perception that japanese cars are reliable they live off of that myth. Is not japanese cars are reliable its toyotas! That ars reliable the built quality of nissan has gone down i had a 1988 maxima bullet proof car . Now nissan is no good. Might as well buy a chrysler fiat dodge product they are as bad as a nissan . Stay away buy toyota maybe honda. Now i buy old toyotas lol.
I agree. Nissan is a scam if there ever was one. They KNEW that the CVT was going to have major problems. But they have never admitted that. I have a 2007 Maxima with not even 48K miles and it is already doing what your car is. To all who may see this: Do NOT purchase a Nissan product. For every one that does not have these problems 1,000 WILL. Oh indeed yes. The history is proof.
Lmao my dad's 09 Altima does that too. Same year model. I'm pretty sure all new Nissans do that. Whenever I hear an Altima or Maxima accelerating by they make that noise
I have the same problem with my ´08 altima. I ran the scanner on it but no codes came up and check engine light is not on. DId you get any codes?
Please read the comment to Jorge Jimenez' post.
Same with my 09 Altima Coupe. I'll start it, it seems fine for about 30-40 seconds, that RPM drops below the 1 and sits at 700-750 and the shaking begins. Car drives fine, until I hit a stop light. Foot on the brake and here comes the rough idle again, RPM drops only when my foot is on the brake. It felt really lousy last night, I had to put the car in "N" at the traffic lights fearing the car was going to stall out. Eh! I've seen these "relearn idle" tricks. Beats me, I'll try it. Another video of seeing if the throttle / butterfly choke is dirty. Looks simple enough.
Dude I have the exact same issue, what did you do to resolve. I cleaned throttle body and still happening. I replaced motor mounts thinking it was them and didn't solve the problem.
My mom 07 Max is doing the same thing I replace some gaskets change all the spark plugs and core packs and clean and the relearning it stop for a while but it comes back!! Hope yall found the problem!
Please read the comment to Jorge Jimenez' post.
I have an 08 Murano same problem any idea
Lil Blue It was a exhaust leak from Catalytic you could bring it to a exhaust shop and get it welded.
Warn thanks brother man
@@natejs6351 u had reduced power I assume or maybe running rough?
And me in 2012
stay away from any nissan and GM product, their built quality is the worst..
Adrian Parada saying their build quality is the worst is a blanket statement. Not all their products are bad lol. It's the same as Dodge sucks I only buy Ford's argument.
Their cvts are bad, another reason to get a manual
@@XenomorphLV426 NOT a manual but a NON CVT transmission. They are as bad a mechanical item as there is. They should have NEVER been put in an automobile. If you have found a car you like, and that car has a CVT transmission; walk AWAY immediately. For you will wish you had not bought it sooner or later. Oh indeed yes.
new gm cars and trucks are awful, i have a older one, a 2005 chevrolet classic with 212,790 miles on it, runs and drives good, i wouldn't get any gm vehicle past a 2007 nissans 2006 and dodges past 2010
did you ever get this figured out? I'm getting the same thing on my 2010 altima
mythranite exhaust leak from the catalytic
Warn ha mine has that problem
@@natejs6351 mines just started having this problem .. Now I have to change that of course
Same with my 08 altima. How do I fix it?
jayamin malawanna i looked at different video on this car starting up and asked couple people and it comes like that from the factory, Nissan sucks there cars a garage
It's the Air Flow Sensor
Please read the comment to Jorge Jimenez' post.
i have the same problem. How did you fix it?
I also have this problem. Very annoying. Only does it at start for me and goes away after 5-7 seconds of running
@@MathiasGreenwalde check the Air Flow Sensor
Air Flow Sensor might be damaged
In all likelihood the problem is a combination of the TB (Throttle Body) and the MAF (Mass Air Flow) "sensors" needing cleaning of dirt and carbon respectively. Worse: IF you take it into a Nissan dealer; they will almost always scam you on this problem and charge you very high costs. The mechanic in almost all cases will spray both the TB and the MAF with a cleaner fluid. And it takes NO time for him to do it. Yet the average cost is upwards of $200.00! Now here is another problem. YES, the TB and the MAF needs cleaning. But they can NOT be cleaned correctly; when still installed in the car. Thus, one must remove the TB and the MAF completely and clean them thoroughly; with the proper fluids. Both items require a different type of fluid. Don't forget this. This takes a lot of time AND if they are not VERY careful with the MAF, it is very easily damaged and the MAF is very costly. DO NOT touch the MAF sensor with anything. Simply spray it AFTER you have removed it from the air flow plenum. Be VERY careful when re-installing it. If you are mechanically inclined, you can do it yourself and the only cost is the fluids. I Recommend CRC fluids. Take your time and be careful.
