One of my most favorite pieces of music. Totally transports me to a different mindful place. Plus, I cannot separate the music from my memories of 2001 A Space Odyssey with the jogging scene in the Space Ship Discovery. A masterful use of the music in film that Kubrick was so famous for.

The variety of sounds from the piano is overwhelming. It demands something more from the listener than any other notated music. It's both a completely new world and at the same time completing our known world. One said all music before 1960 should be burned. Of course, I don't agree and it is also more meant as a provoking remark meaning that we all should feel obliged to dive into the New Music and Avantgarde era. There are so many great experiences. Thanks for a great performance!

Why is there C-natural instead of C-flat at 0:46?

A juvenile Beethoven still apparently sounding like an apprecient to Haydn and Mozart, but you can tell underneath he was the one going to breakthrough music into Romanticism and even beyond.
