Hey, it's so good to see progress on MAG, keep it up!
I still got my Starhawk copy, can i join in if my PS3 is running CFW? What do i need to do?
Retail version is still in the works, Online Beta is only available for the time being till i finish matchmaking. Instructions to connect can be found in our discord. CFW doesn't impact your ability to connect, and makes it more better in case of eboot patches.
What's going on with this game any updates?
So, what about the progress after 5 months?
Currently dealing with Server Matchmaking + Peer to Peer combination packet to create games in Twisted Metal X. But hopefully in due time with decrypting 2018 era pcaps I can get that sorted.
Please tell me this revival project is still in development, I never got to experience MAG I’ve always wanted to play it.

It is already very close to online, I just need to iron out the matchmaking portion for retail to connect other players properly. Online Beta is bit more lax on the matchmaking implementation, and some of the online features changed between.
I really appreciate the effort. This was one of the best multiplayers I ever played.

16v16 32 max players, depending on map size as well.
Max 32 players in one session, so 16vs16 as Benca also mentioned. Map size will vary on max players.

We are getting closer and closer. Clans are now operational again which took a bit to get down before the event. Calendar with events in-game and much more are being worked on next as we speak.
