The Reinvented Bunny Boot Announcement
I thought they’re water proof?🤔 I’m buying them so I don’t have wet socks!
Shit happens, it's always good to have a pair of extra socks on hand.
Companies that charge 200 or 300 dollars, this is who their owners came from ruclips.net/video/pjZeJEkiFlE/видео.htmlsi=bPowPM5IAPZLW7FF
Did I mention the name of this boot is the " bunny boot "
Have you ever considered buying your winter boots from here ? ruclips.net/video/ZANvXfb6ktc/видео.htmlsi=o95qXpkUwmfvZgVQ
I wear size 16...will you have that size?
Show inside
I’m supposed to hate white rabbits but they look great
What colors? You need a camo for hunters. I have an original US Army issue. My 'go to' when stand hunting in very cold weather.
I’ve used the new Bunny Boots for less than 30 days total, I work outdoors all day in Fairbanks Alaskas cold temps and already the laces have started to rub right above the instep and create a small hole. For the price, the durability is disappointing. I went into the Fairbanks store to customer service. They were equally disappointing-no support, and they definitely don’t stand behind their product. These boots are have major durability issues.
I’ve used the Bunny Boots for less than 30 days total, and already the material has started to rub and create a small hole. For the price, the durability is disappointing. These boots are impractical for anyone not wearing them for photo shoots in front of glacier wearing skinny jeans. I even reached out to customer service, and they were equally disappointing-no support or accountability for their product. These boots just aren’t worth it. Definitely regret this purchase.
Bought a pair of Bunny Boots from your Fairbanks store. After just two months of use, they developed a hole and the laces are nearly worn through. Disappointed with the quality and the lack of support I’ve received. I’d love to see this addressed. Anyone else have a similar experience?
MADE IN CHINA!!!
MADE IN CHINA⁉️⁉️
Would love to know what career your in that accommodates this life!
I have very small, but very wide feet. I typically wear a men’s 7 wide, if I can find them (most footwear manufacturers stop making wide sizes at size 8). What size boot and insole would you recommend for me?
Will you ever do a boot with a hard toe? Maybe a more defined heel for putting on gaffs to climb as well
I love this idea. great remake of a classic i have some military issue ones i got from my grandpa and love them but they're too big for me .. but too be honest at almost 400$ and how often i may actually wear something like this .. i just think its over priced.. i get the day and age we're in but i dunno just cant justify it when my baffins rated to -90 are only 275$$ .. just my thoughts but again i love love this !!! Good on you guys fot re inventing a classic 👌
Will u be making them in different colors?
You guys have them in stock if we come to the shop?
Yes we do have them in stock at our Anchorage, Palmer, and Fairbanks stores.
Where are these made? By Americans in America? Or communists in China?
I wish I had them when I was 12. -45f icefishing trip the with "fake kids" winter boots my feet are forever cold now. I can freeze them with no pain now> nerve damage:(Fake walmart winterboots for kids should be outlawed in Alaska. I now have a xmas gift to get my self. I will have a pair of these. 100% >>>mustang survival suit and bunny's will save your life on the lakes and rivers up here. Carhart kills< Mustang saves>>>>> in the winter up here.
This is awesome! I've been in the market for new bunny boots. Do you ship to Canada?
We do ship to Canada and worldwide.
so touching!
Your on the newsss
I think this is awesome. Do you drop a week earlier than the holiday? How do they thaw the turkey out once they get it?
Yes, they are dropped prior to Thanksgiving day.
Awesome! Just what I needed to see. People really do care about others.
After a long wait and paying a premium price I am disappointed that my new redesigned “Alaska Gear Company” Bunny Boots are stamped “Made in China.” I really should not be surprised given the same experience at Filson and other once iconic brands.
Only question I had was the XL vs L on size 13 boot. Just received boots so wondering if XL too big? My thoughts are “probably not.” Still hoping that Alaska Gear gives Emily Ridel of Bering Sea Gold a gig promoting your new boots. I think she is the perfect Alaskan woman to promote these boots. Social media with Emily I believe will help the brand and pretty easy to contact her. She has ability to video etc. and shots in and around Nome would be cool.
ive been looking for bunny boots how can I get me a pair of these boots?

MADE IN CHINA……WTF⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️
What is the insulation?
Felted wool.
Looks great! You provide numbers to explain the size... But i can see the size. What i don't know is: In which conditions i can use it? For which range of temperatures, of rain, of wind... Also it would be nice to see someone in it... I mean: Hide yourself. Show only the tent. Or show yourself sitting and lying in the tent...
Will definitely get some of these sticks with my boots
Moon boot and a half. the ultimate boot for cold weather 👌
Do you have to pump air into it
You do not need to pump air into it. The air is encapsulated.
Made in china!!!
Any other colors besides white?
We will have new colors in 2025.
Made in china!!!!?
If I wear a size 10.5 in shoes and 10 in boots what size do I order?
A size 10 would be the right size for you.
Thanks. @@AlaskaGearCompany
Compared to the old boots how much do they weigh
What a shame you cheaped out and manufactured them in China
No way really 😳 I literally just left a comment saying there a little over priced haha and that's before I knew this damn .. definitely a no go for me then .. that's a bummer ..
Are they like the old ones with wool sandwiched?
Yes, layered wool.
Not sure why a high, waterproof boot needs a gaiter.
I've seen folks wear them over bunny boots for deep snow conditions. Worn on the outside of snowpants / coveralls, it makes a pretty secure barrier for snow getting up in between the pant and boot
We've included a gaiter for additional protection for snow and overflow situations. They work great with this boot.
Protection to increase longevity of the boot or pant that is over the boot if worn in such a manner. Most gaiters are also taller than the height of the boot to keep snow out when pants are worn in the boot or as added protection against higher water levels. Pretty standard gaiter stuff.
Love the redesign, they look comfortable and warm ! 👍
I'm wearing hiking boots at US10.5 size, what size do I need to choose for them?10 or 11?😮
Size 11 with a thicker insole to scale to the 10.5. We offer thicker insoles to do this.
@@AlaskaGearCompany Ok thanks, can't wait for the release
@@leopan723he went over this in the video.
i think a great price should be 350
Cool! Or hot, rather. It is just as well that the parts of Norway where I live it really doesn't get as cold as one would be needing boots like these, or I would have considered purchasing these. Can't imagine international shipping would be really cheap :)
Sweet! I need a size 15 stat lol
HEY i have a tip. Back when the original "bunny boot" was invented there was no closed cell foam. Now you have acces to closed cell insulated foam like "EVA" and so on. Id reccomend using it as insjlation for multiple reasons. 1:its synthetic and this lasts way longer 2: is not effected by water at all and more or less waterproof so if a hole happend sin the boot it wont loose insualtion value or absorb water 3: its tested. There is already boot liners you can buy online and there is videos of these beonh tested with water so on.... 4: over all easier to work with tougher cheaper doesnt compress. Compraed to wool wich has all of these problems. Con: -a possible con that might exist but have not seen any evidence for and would need to be tested. Is since kt traps insualting gass inside the closed cells it might expand and contract in high or low altitudes. Tho i havnt seen this at all
Thought I saw a valve on those.
I wanted to be a bush pilot, but I got into a safer flying career, an ag pilot :-) 4/14/93 I had a mid air with a Navy A-6e Intruder! So much for the flying career.
Can you buy that boot yet??
Can you buy that boot yet??
It is now available for pre-order.
Made in china??!!
Any new update on the bunny boot coming out?
