Certain things need to be called out for 2 reasons at least: 1) to alert future renters from avoiding situations like this (many people are clueless when they first look and then they wonder why they hate their apartment. 2) Put the apartment operators on notice that they need to provide certain amenities for quality of life. We can't just go through life blindly and wonder why we always feel MEH.

@@hashbrown4278 We should promote good design everywhere, even if it does not affect us directly. Caring only about our immediate world is largely why we live in a city of mediocre environments.

​@@sanantonioapartmentliving anyway i prefer living in my countryside house built by my grand-grandfather seeing the woods outside my Windows than living there in an american house built out of cartboard... Oh and i prefer not having so much asphalt for no cars😂 that's why it's depressing. Also all the houses are the same and no sidewalk. Yeah Sorry i have normal living standards.

Haha they have some mature trees around the property but it would be nice to have more! At least they planted new trees. Sometimes that’s the downside of a brand new construction.
