Zach Gibbs, I would like to bend your ear over the Atlanta Shade Store and/or your current manufacturing of shades. We have a home in Highlands, NC. Our bedroom shades came from your store. When one broke beyond repair, the fabric/grass was no longer for sale. We ordered new grass shades (n/c). It took months to get them. They were made upside down. Contacted the shade store in ATL and were sent news ones, taking another number of months. Alas, the ones we have now are tearing up with little use. We aren't here full time. I have sent pictures. The valence is fraying. The cord on one window doesn't work and the shade is crooked. The toggle on the shade has been taped to prevent its continued coming apart. We have taped the valence and have to pull the shade partially down by hand since it is made crooked, Beline Theist sent the following email blaming it all on wear and tear???? Each time the shades have been returned for manufacturing error, except maybe the first time when there is no remaining material. On another note, a friend who just built a new home here had the Shade Store do her shades. She had them returned for exchange or repair on her brand new shades that do to work properly. Zach - I have been a licensed architect for over 40 years and have run my own firm for the lat 27. I have never had issues with a vendor before like I've have with the shade store. Just like your product, your company is dysfunctional. Since the shade store installed the 11 roller shades in my home, (at a cost of nearly $19k) your technicians have been back 6 or 7 times to make adjustments and repairs - each time they visit, I have to take time away from my firm and loose valuable billable hours. On top of that, you have sent the wrong parts to complete the job three times. I am now requesting a full refund and request that you remove these worthless shades - please contact me immediately through your La Jolla California location. If I treated my clients like the way you do, I would be out of business in short order. And, you can bet on the fact that I will steer all of my clients away from your company.
