The Patient Experience Network (PEN) is a ‘not for profit’ membership based network.
We are an independent organisation that welcomes all involved in delivering the patient experience - with a commitment to continuously improve. Our aim is to provide a valuable, practical resource/service for all healthcare organisations wishing to improve the patient experience. A key emphasis of the network is learning from each other and sharing best practice.
Our RUclips channel is home to some of the highlights from our great events, including the annual Patient Experience Network National Awards (PENNA), and some key vidoes from our partner organisations and supporters.

Good morning. The patient experience is dire. All I get is smiling faces of remote senior "executives" chatting on about how wonderful their positions are, but they seem remote from what is the NHS job is about. My experience is of three operations all of which ended with infections. There has been lost paperwork, failure to notify me of operations and then cancellations when I did attend through " lack of time". I now await again to hear, perhaps in 28 days time. All this is being tapped out whilst I hear someone talking in corporate speak. What annoying rubbish. I was told over a year ago when I was first diagnosed that I would soon be able to pick up my normal life. Do not believe this. Jim Hopper
