This is Ducari, my juvenile African grey hornbill.
I’m not sure why he does that thing with his beak, but I’m assuming it’s because he’s happy?
There’s not a lot of information on their behavior, unlike toucans.

@Tlyt. he was adopted out to a man with experience with Quakers, and a female Quaker in the home. He was only about 3, so I assume he is alive and well.

Handsome adorable bird
I just want you to know I am in 100% absolute head over heals in love with Loki. I love his adorable talking/singing voice and how he plays. He is a very very special bird and I hope to find one like him one day. 💛💛💛
Awww a cherry headed conure. That was my very first bird many many years ago. He was a great bird and I miss him.

It's still hard to believe these birds (BCCs) are thriving in the wild in the UK. Monk parrots are so tiny and cute and also thrive in our cold country. Indian ringnecks are becoming known as a invasive species because of their aggressive nature. People buy parrots see the hard work you have to put in and literally open their doors with a "it's only bird it will survive" attitude. If these absolutely beautiful companions are something you would like to keep? Please do research prior to getting a bird. You are a member of their flock and a lot of new bird people give up the bird within the first 5 years literally braking the birds heart, it doesn't understand why its "flock" cast him aside . Rescue centres are full and birds are being euthanized because rescues are full. Sorry, it's becoming a book, not a comment, but birds are my passion. Sorry for high jacking your post. Your flocks absolutely beautiful 😍 ❤ #AdoptDontShop
