I graduated HS in 96. The year before I went to HS a trans person was beaten to death by a broom handle by some dude who was trying to hit on her but did not know she was trans. He hit on HER and when she tried to walk away he killed her. Trans people are less than .00003 of the population and they are like 30 times more likely o commit suicide, a magnitude more likely to be raped or murdered than any other minority group. At a certain point, we can't keep justifying EVIL. I am nearing 50 and grew up in the same generation as Chappell. I am a black dude from the south. I once was against gay marriage but slowly had to learn how to change to accommodate people. There is no excuse for anyone now in 2025 to still think it's cute for Chappel to punch down. He's too famous and rich to use his platform to endanger the lives of people already living dangerous lives. It's an excuse for bullying. It's an excuse to accept what we would not accept for ourselves. chappel is very offended when you talk about comedians but thinks he can call an entire group of people alphabet-people as a slur and think that BS is not bigoted? The dude's a BIGOT. He's just hiding that bigotry behind jokes and getting co-signers on because he's the GOAT. If Trump made the same sort of nasty-ass remarks a lot of folks would resent it. I resent it if the bigotry is coming from Trump's mouth or Chappell. It's not right to treat such a vulnerable group like this and it's just about how we used to treat gay folk back in the day while lying to ourselves that we were evenhanded in our ridicule.

I am a 50-year-old high school volleyball coach. I am not very athletic. In fact, I am 50 lbs. overweight, a big nerdy physics teacher and I am short. When I step in to play with the girls I coach I must deliberately play below 50% level to be safe. The net is 8 inches lower, and the ball is lighter. I could easily be the star on any girls volleyball team in the state. I have also coached college women's volleyball, and I have played against division 1 and professional women's players. None of them were appreciably better than I was at hitting or serving. They may have been better, but I could keep up for a match or two in a row. Imagine what a boy in his prime could do. I have also played against Division 1 and professional male volleyball players. The first play I ended up on my back with a bloody nose. I did not even see the ball hit my face. I cannot keep up at all with male volleyball players even at the upper high school level.
