A contemporary folk festival for all ages, set deep in a Welsh woodland by the sea. Between The Trees is a magical place to rewind, relax, create art, learn new skills, listen to spoken word and discover the wonders of nature.

SupaLung and the creation of singer-songwriter Sam Brookes alongside multi-instrumentalist, producer Pete Josef @wearesupalung. They are instantly "likeable", "danceable", a breath of fresh air and give out a feel-good vibe.

The festival crew are the "beating heart" of the festival. They are responsible for getting the show on the road but to ensure it a happy and fulfilling weekend for the festival attendees, you need the right people. Professor Matt Morgan and his family have been coming to the festival for a number of years. Matt has spoken on a number of occasions at the festival, about his experiences in his role as a Intensive Care Doctor in the NHS.

Megan first came to Between The Trees on an internship as our artist liaison. She loved it and did an amazing job. Being a musician herself, she understood the role perfectly and since then has become Between The Trees first employee.

What a privilege it is to host Ballet Cymru at Between The Trees Festival. Darius and Amy are such positive and creative people and their team of dancers are truly inspirational. Their day time dance sessions and evening performances are one of the highlights of the weekend.

What an incredible guy Adebayo is! We first met Bayo, during the lead up to the 2021 festival, just after we were emerging out of lockdown. Bayo had recently graduated from Cardiff Met with an MSc in Occupational Safety, Health and Well-Being and wrote our COVID safety policy. He's been vital in the managing of our Green Team ever since and an all round pleasure to have on the BTT crew

My musical taste grew thanks to a guy called Andy Rudman. He introduced me to martyn Joseph and we saw him together in whitehaven in the 90s. I lost touch with him sadly... But i never lost touch with martyns music. Thanks andy x

Coming from the northwest of England, my second job after leaving school was working on Merthyr mawr estate. 1977. I stayed in Ton cottage and worked in the woods and the dunes. Obviously changed there since

Being a Bridgend boy I know the dunes like the back of my hand, living here in Stuttgart nowadays I'm looking forward to timing a visit back for the Between The Trees weekend.

The best band I've heard in years
It was our first time at #BetweenTheTrees and what a fabulous event. So much love and laughter, music and song, activities for all and bargains......we hope to be back.
You are more than welcome to come back. You were a tremendous addition to the festival.

Peacefully beautiful. This is the feeling you get when you're in Cardiff bay first thing in the morning walking along the seafront to Penarth. It's a blessing to have such a place.....and such wonderful music! Well done 👍🏿
