The Princess Lorelei was based on the real life ocean liner Queen Elizabeth 2 aka QE2. QE2 sailed for just shy of 40 years (May 1969 until November 2008), and opened a floating hotel in Dubai in April 2018. Over the course of her long illustrious career: * sailed nearly 6 million nautical miles (enough to travel to the moon and back 14 times). * carried nearly 3 million passengers. * crossed the Atlantic 806 times. * made hundreds of cruises including 26 around-the-world cruises. * briefly served as a troopship during the Falklands conflict in the spring of 1982 * rescued passengers from the wrecked SS Antilles in January 1971 Honestly, QE2 is my favorite ship of all time.

So an explanation and recommendation for this point in the story if you are aware in other comments they mention jump straight to season 2, but why? until' episode 15 the anime follows the canon story (the manga story) but because of the times there was very little material from the manga to finish the anime so “16”, “17”, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 were original anime an another different story now why I select ("") episodes 16 and 17(first half of the episode) have some scenes that are similar to the manga however there are some changes so that the first season could be finalized -My recommendations (optional)- watch 16 and 17(first half of episode 17) and skip to season 2 of the Kyoto saga and then you can continue to season 3. but if you are interested you can watch the end of season 1 just keep in mind that from 16 to 24 is a different story than the manga. Just a word of caution to avoid confusion when starting season 2

Please watch season 3 of Blue Exorcist too since it is newest and also in dub and it continue where season 2 left of and goes like manga goes.

I love how stuff effects the crowd in this anime idk why they never remastered it with new animation it would legit be one of the best but the next arc still makes this anime top 10 animes i promise

Love that you're reacting to this series, but just a heads up that that after around episode 16 of season 1, they go completely in a different direction to the manga and then try act like those last few episodes of the first season never happened to continue the storyline of the manga for the second season. So, just my recommendation to avoid any continuity issues, is to not really watch the episodes after episode 16 since it'll get confusing for season 2, if you continue with the series. But, up to you.
