I was the biggest fan of Possum as a child, I was obsessed the golden era of Suburu around 95-98, I used to visit the local dealer in Tauranga and collect all the posters and advertising.. new all the facts dreaming of one day owning a Rex. One day I learned about his store in an advert for "possum-link" I rang up cause I wanted to know more about hydrolic handbrakes as you do as a 14yo. the guy answers casually "Hi this is Peter" (me not realizing the legends real name) I near shook with excitement when mum got home and told me haha. he was soo cool cause i went on about how i was a fan and to say hi :) lol

As a teenage , I considered possum to be a driving god , every ralley event, every televised event , I would be jumping up and down screaming GO YOU BARSTARD, (with respect ) , watching him flick the arse round bends that most us of would crawl round with that stupid grin on his face , he always looked like the kid who just stole a hand of lollies and got away with it. I have a scar on my cheek and nose from a stone that hit me and gave me a wicked black eye, in 91 at ashley forest, I managed to catch up with possum at end of stage two and asked for his autograph , which I still have, he asked what happened to my face and when i told he did it , he pocked me on the nose and said, dose that hurt? and ruffled my hair up and then said , next time duck, dam it hurt but in a funny way. To possum's family, im sorry you lost him ,we all were , it was such a tragic lost for everyone . Just a great memory I have of him I though you might like hear. Check it out, two moons. I remember meeting Possum at the Southern Safari Rally here in Tassie many years ago. He came roaring into the stage where we were, signed in joked with us and then roared off into the night, lights ablaze, the pops, bangs, roar of the exhaust and chirping of tyres on the gravel. An experience I have never forgotten. A true champion of rallying.

Decrease the rear rebound stiffness to control that exit oversteer. Steady state cornering is probably alright so the roll bars aren’t the best adjustment. You can also increase the front bump stiffness to help the exit oversteer
