@@Hello11World I wanted to play as an archer sort of guy. Dexterous, light armor, stuff like that. But it doesnt really matter that much in this game. Its not for tryhards, you can play the way you want. Even if you pick the wrong skill at start, you can learn another one later because theres no limit on skill points in this game afaik and you can learn everything.

We all make mistakes from time to time.

Hes practically immune to pierce dmg. You can only shoot him with frost arrows afaik. I had to go melee with a hammer and I never used club weapons.

@@baronkreight frost arrows were exactly what I used, he took around 50 damage from one shot.

Yeah I now have the longship built. Sailing around like a true mofo.

I played the demo too and died too. I couldn't finish it. Forget about the demo, the full version is better. The main game has two game modes - one is story focused (easy one I guess) and another one is free play (the intended mode). I play the intended mode. I suppose story focused is easier. This game is more like a visual novel or a book even than a real video game. And its no wonder because it was inspired by a solo rpg adventure books. It is quite enjoyable if you look at it like that.

The test ended on dec 4. You can add it to your wishlist on steam. There will probably be more tests.

Sorry for the late reply. RUclips stopped sending me email notifications for whatever reason. Probably because I invaded Ukraine. Anyway each game has some sort of learning curve so thats only natural I reckon.

Idk, it may seem that way. The steam release is yet come for whatever reasons. But I think it still deserves attention even if for its visual style and story only.

Yes. Took me around 70 hrs to finish and I rushed it at the end.

well devs said a regular playthrough takes 75-100 hrs. But I heard people rushing it in 40 or something hrs. And honestly its not worth it. Games shite anyway

You mean all loot that's on the ground? I'll try that. Was it available in the original version? I know they added some loot options in EE but I'm not using them on purpose.

To be fair I tried to avoid combat because it's just a start of the game. There were bandits around but I avoided them on purpose since they looked like they had armor and I didn't have any. Regardless the combat felt pretty basic indeed. Maybe it'll get better later on but I'm not sure.

Even worst, Donkey Crew is owned by Snail Game, which has an even darker history for scam and abandonware...

I don't really care about graphics that much in games. Voice acting doesn't really bother me either in a game like this. The gameplay though...

From what I heard plenty of people disliked it for a number of reasons.

It's insane. I completely hit a brick wall in the lava room.

@@dan32321 I turned the difficulty down. It's all ego trying to make this part more difficult than it has to be. Life goes on lol

I played this right after release when the game was still full of bugs. I don't think I lowered the difficulty here. But there is no shame in doing that. I lowered it later during even more difficult insane fights.

@@safetythirdified Man, I'm loath to do that but I just might have to. I don't see any way possible. It would be challenging with just 2 Marauders. With 3 and then a pair of succubus on top of that ... I've been able to find a solution for everything to this point but I keep getting wiped out without even making a dent.

If you ve never played slashers like Chivalry or Mordhau, you should try it. Chivalry goes on sale quite often and so does Mordhau. Chivalry or Mordhau? Imo both are good. I think Chivalry is easier to get into.

Maybe if I had chosen the option to attack the city, they would have. I'm not sure about that though.

@@baronkreight you should drink all perm potions for extra dex/strength/hp and eat all raspberries every 25 of them gives you +1 dex

I know, I need to learn advanced alchemy and start brewing.
