In the first DD, I found that either Frigor or Gicel worked best against drakes. But in DD2, because the nature of the Frigor spell changed, I'd say that because it has a relatively short casting time, depending on your gear and the quality, you could do better, more consistent damage.

​​@@esequielalvarez3162 My go to spells for fighting drakes would always be frigor since high frigor can summon 3 spires of ice back then or gicel when you want a precise strikes to the heart or long range ice spears. High levin works well to since you can use it to strike the heart when it's flying

Good video though just need to add a mage in there. If you gonna go sorcer add another sorcer to cast your meteor faster

Meteoron isn’t very good against Drakes, presumably they’re resistant to fire. Aside from Augural Flare, Maelstrom would probably do much better, but I haven’t tested it yet since I fucked that quest. Will test soon tho

same for me, i was lvl 65 when i decided to skip post game and go ng+ instead. i keep that for later when i will have the second copies of the good rings collected

@@1borleau I played DD1...It was THAT annoying for me in that one, and that one had 1-2 bigger, more open areas...this one seems to have none, whatsoever. Just "corridors."

thats nothing, my first dragon kill took around 20 minutes or more, even lost count of how many times i had to revive my pawns because of the damn meteor attack

The drake here does not fly away, I learned that there are fixed drake locations that have them fly away or stay in battle till the end

Sorcs are so nerfed compared to DD1

by adding mods that makes the game even harder! we basically balance it by adding brutal mod or something that adds more crazy stuff to keep our sessions fresh
