Im wearing traditional metal braces with coil springs and a Herbst aplyance i have triangle rubber bands on my side teeth and 4 class 1 rubber bands crossing on ly front teeth with headgear!! Do you wear headgear too?​@@emipoweredlife

Hi Clayton, How are you? Oh no, thank you for letting me know. I’ve checked and some brands recommend the equivalent of 1/4 teaspoon of sunscreen for the face. How much do you normally use?

@@emipoweredlife I use two fingers length worth. With sun protection more is always better than less, and for that reason sunscreen is one skincare item I will not splurge on because you want to be generous with application and having an expensive sunscreen might subconsciously influence you to use less.

@@emercycrite this is really great advice. Thank you so much for sharing. I must be sincere and say that I got some small freckles on my cheeks because of the sun, for sure this is a sign to apply more sunscreen on my face! Which sunscreen do you use?

This is such a great question. The first months were so difficult for me. I had to idea where to “put” my tongue. But naturally, it just started following the changes of my mouth, as it started to charge with the braces. I will totally do a video about it

@@emipoweredlife thank you!! Yeah I had no idea my tongue was in the wrong position and not helping my overbite / lisp I have. So glad I found out by my dentist (also I’m 27)

Well done Suzi, for being brave and getting braces at 27! I can totally relate regarding the overbite. I had a lisp too when saying some words, and other words I could just not say correctly at all. I became so self-conscious about it, especially the older I became 🙈 It has been such a process, and the braces really help in the long run! After just a few months I notice such a significant difference, and the dentists are really there to help your month, teeth and tongue move "correctly" to the right places. Finding the right dentist is key. Actually, when I was a kid, my previous dentist used to recommend a tongue crib, my current dentist has never mentioned it, and my the results have been great so far

Hi Claes, The dentist wasn’t very happy with the pace my molars were moving, so she fitted the new brackets on a different way/angle, to create more rotation.
