Are the Baptist preachers? Non-believers in dreams, visions and miracles in these days. I spoke with the preacher afterwards when I was just planning on sitting and reading a Bible. I requested a Bible that just had the New Testament. And the conversation diverted and when in many different directions and that was an overwhelming impression. Was it just a one time thing.

I would have more respect for protestant pastors if they actually spoke the truth about the catholic faith. Educate themselves, a novel approach might be to sit down with a Traditional catholic priest, listen and learn. I get it, if they were honest, people would not fill their coffers and pews, they would be catholic. Pastors like this are in my prayers as are those who follow heresy.

I mean. Just say it. You believe the only church anyone should attend is a KJVO IFB church. No other denomination aligns with your beliefs. You strawman “baptism saves” churches as if that’s literally what they teach. It’s not. Every Protestant denomination holds to Sola Fide. Baptism acts as the physical sign and seal of Gods grace which confirms our salvation. It’s not baptism. Think of it like this. You believe in the baptism of the spirit that happens at the moment of conversion. Correct? Protestants believe that the spirit baptism happens at the water baptism. “Baptism saves” is a vague phrase that is embraced only because covenant theology takes longer to explain. You take that phrase literally and straw man the argument to mean that other Protestant denominations actually believe that there’s somehow power in H2O. As for KJVO. Which KJV do you use? The 1611? The 1769? Which edition based on which TR line of text? The back translation or the original that omits 1 John 5:7? The back translation of Revelation from the LV? The omission of John 1:18? For context. I am an Arminian Baptist. I align with you on most issues. But I do not believe in bearing false witness against the brethren. If you are going to oppose other believers on doctrine, stop the strawman.
