Congrats.
nice ep good job really good
why delete the pipe the vent is right there XD u did it twice
I can't remember, I was trying so many things. It probably wasn't necessary.
you can un-equip and re-equip bionic modules in the config menu
i think your aspect ratio is a bit off
Lol, I was wondering how long it would take before you realized you initially connected to your water line instead of the ethanol.
Rocket Control Station can be reconstructed in a different spot if you need.
That would probably be better moving to the far side.
the video either croped or zoomed in sadly but I can still see what is needed
Thanks, I'll check for that in the next vid. Happy Friday!
data scientist here looking for job at your colony XD
its a known exploit with the Atmos suits you can do it with regular dupes once equipped they never wear out whilst equipped only when they take the suit off it becomes worn out. also same with oxygen aslong as the dupe is in or gets too a oxygenated atmosphere they never run out of o2. the only downside is that regular dupes keeps going into gasping for breath amination and this causes increased stress.
I watched ur last episode and this one. You remind me a lot of the youtuber Blitz, which is great he's an amazing youtuber who I wish would play more ONI. You fill that hole in my heart. now I'm subscribed
I'm glad it seems to be just water that affects the bionic dupes so negatively. It would suck if liquid locks always did awful things to them when they're not in atmo suits. The maximum limit of boosters is 8, so if you COMPLETELY specialize, you can get bionic dupes with 40 in an attribute. Probably not a good idea for any jobs that require atmo suits, etc. Can make for an excessively fast cook for Sage Hatches or mixed colonies, but then what are they going to do the rest of the time?
Love your videos man.
Also the power bank that got destroyed said it could be scrapped in the rock crusher
With bionics (currently, they might patch it out) you don’t need to power the atom suits, just build one and put the dupe in it. They don’t need to take it off ever, they can do everything in it and since they have internal oxygen tanks they don’t need it to be full of oxygen, so no reason for the docks.
no seems good no problems with sound
No issues with the quality!
well helo with the new EP
THE pipe that is breaking is on top of a snow tile
Brightest dumpster fire ever!!! I m mesmerized!!! So beautiful. Good luck with that.😉
Use Slime Mold for Slime to Phyto Oil Recipe
8:05 When using that many buffer tanks in a line and your goal isn't chlorine sterilization, you can go directly through all of their outputs with one pipe and all of their inputs with another pipe. Fluid flowing across an output will block it. If both pipes dead-end on the same tank, then it results in a first in, last out flow. This can be a problem in environments where stagnant water is in danger of phase changing, but the nature of storage is having the contents stay put for a while. Phase change risks would exist regardless. The benefit of this is fewer materials spent on pipes, and cleaner pipe layouts if you need to for whatever reason bridge across them.
nice progress
@2:04:00 Beetas with Saturns are the most OP creature combo.
21:56 Lubricant and oil are also slippery, and I guess gunk is too. 1:32:53 Bammoths are actually very sensitive to temperature. Their comfortable range is actually 30c. The reason they're so suited to the cold is that they're well insulated. However... the benefit of that insulation more or less evaporates when they get wet. The conductivity of whatever liquid they get into matters far more. A wet Bammoth is likely a soon to be dead one. The bionic dupes may not eat meat, but Sage Hatches do, essentially turning calories, slowly, into electricity. Or you can feed the rot to Pokeshells for sand/filtration medium. 1:45:14 I have no idea what's going on with the batteries, but I there's an alternative to the CO2 situation and their difficulty getting O2. One of the changelogs says: "Minor animation revision for a Bionic Duplicant consuming a gas canister." This means bionic dupes can get their O2 from canister fillers and don't have to perform the gasping behavior. You should therefore be able to meet their O2 needs simply by providing O2 canisters in their major workspaces. In theory, you shouldn't even need to oxygenate an all-bionic duplicant base. You just need to provide enough air pressure for any crops they rely on. The catch is that trying to store that much oxygen is inconvenient, to say the least. I also think their useless gasping is being prompted by the little wafts of O2 floating up from below. While that's good enough for normal dupes, it's clearly pretty bad for a bionic dupe that is low on supply.
I do think it's easiest to start with bionic duplicants on Ceres type asteroids given the higher need for electricity generation and use, and the harm water poses. Keeps things cool and dry... for a while at least. I haven't got around to testing it for myself yet, so I'm unsure if water causes rechargeable batteries to discharge, damages any batteries, damages bionic dupes, debuffs bionic dupes, or some mix thereof. Given their different needs, I think it's easiest to have a mix of normal versus bionic dupes. There are more overall needs to consider and provide for, but the amounts wind up being dramatically reduced. Halved if you have an even amount of dupes and keep their types even. But... I think my first serious playthrough where I'll include bionic dupes from the start is going to be in Spaced Out with one normal dupe "overseer" per asteroid I settle. And maybe some normal dupes for the Somnium Synthesizer.
Water destroys metal batteries and turns eco batteries into damaged batteries.
Funny how dupes don't die to lack of power but lack of oxygen
I've always loved this way of separating gases.
hello how are you today
Good! Sending my single dupe to the gym today.
@@jerssimulationgaming1975 dup is leving better live than us XD <3
the Flox lay eggs constantly. They find any possible way to get into impossible places and they eggs fast enough to not notice
a Snow Oasisse? wild!
nice! Keep playing ONI!
the other day I was tired of waiting for my dupes to research enough to do this and that and I saw so many other people digging and digging and mining their entire planetoids and having all the late game resources at their disposal. I decided to play ONLY at full speed. I found a natural gas vent and placed it near my Fertilizer synthesizer and set up a reltively big infinite storage for the NG so I can have one supplying the infinite power and one going to the kitchen area bla bla. your infinite resources is amazing! Keep it up!
Nice setup! Looking forward to seeing what you do next
7:38 Just as you started the shearing test, I can see at least 1 drecko in each room that appears to be sheared already. Thanks for the test, good to know about the incubator :)
i was about to say what about the hydrogen found u did catch it XD Nice progress really helpful and really enjoyable series I am sure it's not that easy to make I tried this last 2 days my self I got bored at some moments but loved the idea of me being the only player on the map thanks for the effort
Spigot seals eat sucross now, this come with the QoL update.
hello
I wonder if another set of doors or bunker doors would work that way you can harvest meteors easily
it almost feels like you want a special asteroid with some of the buildings in your starting position like the teleporter asteroid. there’s so much infrastructure to get up and running first and foremost. need an electrical crafting dupe for operating the crafting table and microchips, need a medical dupe for the lube and maybe research, then a digging/building dupe for everything else otherwise you run out of batteries, can’t harvest the gunk in time, etc
helo
Hi!
<3
Nice ep i think the ice is the water in the pipes getting cold, also I think its better to collect all wild critters in place that have co2 on it soo when then they die the meat doesn't go bad for the power is the second plant how about u add hydro gen and separate 2 systems ? very very very nice progress and nice EP love the series amazing
Great video!
19:54 you did not need to block off the volcano, since you did not open the tile of interest. You almost did though. You actually untapped the steam vent, but it is between three 4 blocks so it is okay.
Here's an experiment I would like to see: Let's say you're either early on in a Ceres colony or just choosing to keep it cold outside of specific rooms. When and in what conditions do dupes choose to warm themselves up? Can you get the to reliably prioritize warming themselves up over moving on to the next task? Can you get them to warm up again before they start suffering the chilly environment debuff? Is it possible to make warming stations reliable or are you better off having the dupes obtain the warmth buff from much longer duration sources such as the hot tub?
From my observations the bonbon drowns in liquids. Ethanol for sure
Looking forward to the next one!
Next one is tomorrow morning :)
@jerssimulationgaming1975 !!
Loving this series! Such different gameplay to what I'm used to, very amusing to watch
will helo helo to the new ep
