i have to abmit i can be emotionally guided by a good/great directrorial piece of art. I am sooo biased by this film. i used to walk regularly for about an hour(with child's legs) from the bottom of the avvie to the park to play footie on the clearings (which was a stupid amount of football and rugby pitches) or to explore the ex tramlines and depths and undulations that may have been caused my the German attempts to bomb Leeds. many mythical stories were told and the feeling of acheivement was felt when having spent a whole day with friends collapsing in tiredness in enjoying playing a match in marked out pitches. The games were truely about taking part as this skill levels were soooo poor that partisipating was the only true goal. I actually remember pedalos and rowing boats on the lake!! could you imagine that now? i have knowledge as a delivery driver of many council estates and well to doo nieghbourhoods who fear envolvement with their community. i will confirm in " Miggy, Ls10 do as you would unto others.. and they will buy you a pint!! it is so easy to write off public places because of unsocial behavour, but fear breeds fear, so let us all unite and fight was is the minority who hold sway in fear of genuine good will. Freinds of miggy park.. i salute you!!
