It was about that period of time when TV started to become more important than the movies, lots of big actors moved to TV and now it feels overwhelming and over saturated....like I have trouble writing good shows in my notes cause they come out so often

Yes, I agree wholehearted with that assessment of this movie. The whole film is stunning. I keep recommending to everyone I meet. But that ending... I cannot tell you how many times I've played it. It makes my heart soar every single time I do. To be able to make that, given the tragedy it stemmed from, is a true tribute to the human soul.
A wonderful movie.
Just watched this film. Even with English subtitles, one of the most moving films I’ve seen in years. Wish I had seen it in a theater.

It's great to see Mads & Thomas together. I like what Mads said if you get too focused on the future you can miss or could miss a golden opportunity in the present. But I also liked & have experienced what Thomas said about life becoming too routine & that we need to buck routine to enjoy it more. Yeah! Jenny

After 5 years living in Stockholm it is so funny to see Mads says “Russian level” while Scandinavians are drinking sooooo much. In the world fighting with stereotypes yes, let’s continue talking about it

@@heinedenmark I think they are dying because of home-made vodka, no? I don't know how common it is in Denmark and other Nordic countries to make booze at home.
Its not a stereotype - the russian drinking. Its refering to the actors and the director watched- as research befire shooting the film- some RUclips videos where different rusian people have filmed them selves doing a lot bonkers thing while drunk. Its not about pointing fingers ' cause Thomas Vinterberg and Mads Mikkelsen know that drinking and binge drinking is not uncommon in Denmark.
Festen, Jagten, Druk ! Completaly favorites. Danes make such a great movies and have great actors. Best regards from Iceland.

In some ways Jokers and Another Rounds dancescenes have some similarities. Both dancescenes shows the mental state of the charachter, both not caring about what’s coming next and living in the moment.

Thank you so much for making such a profound and powerfull movie . Some friends and me will make a coreography with " what a life " to celebrate 3 years in remision :( , will try very hard to copy Mads Mikkelsen dance . I dont usually watch horror movies, but I watch the best in my opinion. This one was one of the most terrible movies I have seen. The tremble was borderline, alcohol can open you up and cross whatever line. The line can be as beautiful as the last scene and as dangerous as not shown - the death. For me, it's an ad against drinking, and very successful.
There is death in the movie. Also I think the movie is saying drink responsibly not dont drink. Which is not a bad thing in my opinion if your responsible you can drink. This movie is by far not saying drinking more is the best thing you can do.
