Chasing Nirdala: A True Serbian Story Turned Psychedelic Folk Song
In 1987, Boško Drljić, better known as "Gandor," sold his apartment in Sarajevo and moved to Serbia with a single goal - to find and destroy Nirdala, the apocalyptic serpent he believed to be the source of all evil in this world.
Settling in the forests around Gornji Milanovac, Boško was convinced that Nirdala was hiding there, and he dedicated the next 17 years to hunting it. He spent summers and winters in the forest, engaging in philosophical conversations with random passersby about humanity, art, and Nirdala.
