Emerging Minds (previously the Australian Infant, Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Association - AICAFMHA) is dedicated to advancing the mental health and emotional wellbeing of Australian infants, children, adolescents and their families. Emerging Minds develops mental health policy, services, interventions, training, programs and resources in response to the needs of healthcare professionals, children and their families. They partner with family members, national and international organisations to implement evidence based-practice into the Australian context.

Hey guys! I just found your blog online after searching for some mental health organisations that I could possibly volunteer for online. I am a 17 year old girl from Melbourne finishing my last year at school in 2018 and aspire to work in the mental health/psychology field. I was born to 2 beautiful parents who have unfortunately had to both suffer with schizophrenia. I was fortunately raised by my grandparents and have had the utter-most support my entire life. I love what you guys are trying to create and if you guys would give me a chance to help out in some way in the future, I would love it tremendously. :)
