Microwaves have half wave doublers. But why!!! They waste 2kv!!!! Ok, testing with 10uf caps, the voltage increased with HWD. But microwaves only have 1/2uf - 1uf caps!

      The two side wires I believe are positive in the middle wire is the central tap for negative so middle wire goes in middle terminal and two side wires go on the two side terminals and also it’s a flyback transformer not a Marx generator

    • @Electric42382
      @Electric42382 10 месяцев назад

      Do you hear a humming noise from the transformer? If you are using cheap alligator clips, they usually break very easily, like the ones that I had did. Also, another mistake that i made was using the two red wires on the transformer. You have to use the one white wire, and then use the ground of the transformer (the casing) as the other "wire" (I heard they are coated in something, so maybe scratch off a little bit of the coating and then try to make an arc there). Be safe, I wont be responsible if it works and you hurt yourself or others!

    • @MarshawnDixon

      @@ac60hz120 You have to cut some of the red wire off to the point where you see that metal needle thing, then you connect your alligator clip to it and another clip on one of the sides of the transformer, and the clip that you put on the red wire needle can go on your arcing stick which should be insulated like pvc, and lastly, connect the other wire to your arcing stick which should be metal. Now remember, be extra careful because I am not responsible for your actions if something bad happens⚠️⚠️⚠️

    You need a thicker worr, like one in a pulse transformer the 2rd or 3rd ones. And a bigger nail. That nail material is fine though, only the size. The thin wire creates more heat and less magnetic feild because of resistance. Thats how even with all those turns, it is just a heater
