Hey, my printer is this exact same model and it is leaving marks, not ink marks but actual lines on photo paper. Do you think this method could solve my issue?

✨ThankYou for your video ! I did a more thorough job cleaning my very dirty fan . First remove the screw on the bottom of the back panel 😊 then the top 2 , then slide the panel down towards the base . Use a butter knife in the notches to remove the panel . Note : The fan with spindle “ all in one piece “can be taken out to clean . Remove those top two screws holding in the fan assembly in place and the one on the bottom nut holding it in place at the shaft . Clean and reassemble. Attention: do not get electrical wires and motor assembly wet ⚠️ risk of electrical shock WOW it works like a nice new fan, it works perfectly! 😉👍🇨🇦

Hardest blowing fan compared to one from Costco. Sturdy and easy to use.

Except most fans nowadays for some fucking reason use torx screws so you have to buy a special screwdriver to open it.

Is is possible to ruin a tip the first time you use it? I did my first solder job, which was a success last night, everything went well. Tried to use the solder iron again today, and the solder won't stick. I tried to clean off the oxidation using a scotch bright pad, and the oxidation comes right back within a minute. I just bought 5 new tips, but what did I do wrong?

I suspect that the naysayers are correct about the long-term harm that removing the outer layer of the tip will render it useless, but I doubt it will be immediate. I let the tip on a simple, rarely used, 25W Weller iron oxidize badly. Years later I needed to solder in two capacitors in a piece of test equipment. When I tried to tin the tip, it laughed at me and quickly shed the solder I was using to tin it. As a last resort I went to the sandpaper as shown in this video. Eventually I got the solder to stick, and it at least appears to have tinned the tip well. I'll be trying it soon, but don't expect it to be as bad as it was before putting the paper to it. I'll report back on whether or not it worked out for the short-term.
