@@echomerx I was joking, but seriously I just tear it open. I don't look for any lines. No need. The only time I pay attention to perforation lines is when it's for food that offers a resealing function.

to open the bag you tear the strip that is perforated. it will have a round end too to help you find it. then to seal it, peel off the pink liner then close the top down

The tape may not be wound correctly on the spool. I suppose when not wounding correctly, the tape is not going to stick to the watermill.

I agree with your prognosis and everyone kinda crosses their finger as when their tape dispenser will be out. I think they will likely be on a collision course with Scotch, if they do, since Scotch has so many IP.

I ended up sending my Epson to an accredited repair shop just a few days shy of warranty expiry date. They replace the main circuit board for us.

Thank you. I have tried to move the work around toward the upper right corner.but when cricut initiates during the start, it senses and transplaces automatically to a lower position and I didn't know that you can put smart vinyl on a mat.And thanks to your advice that I now know.

I totally agree that there are far more cheaper heat tapes and they are in par with Cricut on the performance and resistance to over heat.

Thanks for the suggestion. The Cricut blue tape works on this semi-automatic tape dispenser, though it’s a much loose fit. In addition, we also offer the 1” small core heat tape that fits and on par to Cricut heat tape and is also much affordable. In another words, our solution to this is coming up with a better and cheaper heat tape roll that fits.

The side cutter can cut tape of any length, but the watermill part only cuts about 1.4” long strip. Is 1.4 “ still too long for you?

Yes it's cheaper but I also use the cardstock to practice stencil and weeding, regular paper feels bit flimsy

I think regular paper would probably stick to the mat more and tear when trying to take it off. Haven't tried it but I have seen people use the dollar tree vinyl with the paper thin backing and it seems to always rip on them and stick to the mat when pulling up.

The answer is Yes but not without some limitation. According to Cricut, u can cut 2-ply and 4-ply with knife blade and at max thickness of 2.00mm

the green color as in the video is our first version, now we have pink and purple
