Preah Vihear temple is an outstanding masterpiece of Khmer architecture. The complex history can be traced to the 9th century, when the hermitage was founded.
It is situated on the top of a 525-metre cliff in the Dângrêk Mountains, Preah Vihear province, Cambodia.
