Kurpika is the best deck in format. After playing the dreaded renji rush match up, I am confident that this style of Kurapika where I hyper focus on getting energy ASAP, is the better deck. I feel that pain! It's so expensive trying to collect and play these anime card games. I will say this set is super fun, and if you wanted to play this game the prize support is amazing, there's a decent number of players, and this set is very meta.
@BrownandWeiss say no more! I'm convinced! 😂 Luckily my chase cards aren't that expensive, you have the Nobara SR** I want. Hoping the pull rates aren't terrible!
@warmastercollects the pull rates are okay. I low rolled this box. You usually get 2 1 star cards per box. In case you get 1 foil ap and 1 2 star or 3 star card. The 3 stars are hard to pull. 1 per 5 boxes. And there's a serialized version of the 3 stars that's worth quite a bit. There only 100 copies of that version.
Ay they do look VERY nice man! But yeh I've only watched a tiny bit of jojo
The first 2 parts suck. Part 3 is soild. But for me, the show gets amazing halfway through part 4. Each part is a different character. Really wild show.
where does one buy these cards ?
Depends on where you live. If you're in the US, you can get it on TCGPlayer and some card shops carry it. Tressas Collectibles is also really great, and I think they do international shipping as well.
Can i get them in europe?
Depends where in Europe, but it should be available. On where to purchase, i really don't know that market.

@mactxd I thought about it, but I'm on a new build with gon. It's wild. Makes the 2/1 kurapika worth it. Also, I tried using the melody, but I like leorio better.

What would you cut out for an extra Hisoka? Also any other changes you've decided to do since then?
It depends on what you value. You can cut the 3/2 leorio, 1 4/1 leorio, or a neon. I would choose the 3/2 leorio. I'm testing out a new version with the starter deck gon and running water divination. It's okay so far but is really inconsistent. I don't think it's better, but I'm still messing with it.

Yah.... you know it kinda just worked out that way. I wasn't feeling confident enough for a long time. I got some motivation, and this happens to be what I've been playing and feeling confident in. I do have a deck profile I want to do for weiss, but I have to work out the kinks.

yea weiss needs to start grabbing those IPs that people want. these last few quarters bushiroad hasnt released that many good sets.
@asianwingsauce well see what they do. The marvel stuff isn't giving me hope unless they can actually bring it over. Also, i thought the last jp press conference was great. Dan da dan, fairy tail, oshi no ko 2, gun gale, and that amagi anime look pretty solid. there's so good stuff coming but until then ... Zzz...
@BrownandWeiss yea just around January to June they really didn't have any good sets. And I play hololive so we will see if we get any more support for that set. If not I'm dropping weiss tbh.

I can't run a deck without matching mats and sleeves lol. Amiami is kinda a godsend. For mats though in some cases I'd rather do a custom mat from inked playmats. Dragon Shield custom skeeved are also nice. Bushi hardly of ever enforces the supplies rules so official isn't a super must. My entire team used custom mats and sleeves and never got a warning or anything. Did get a compliment from staff though lol.
Oooo... I heard of dragon sleeves, but they seemed too expensive. I thought about doing custom mats, but idk where to get them. I know amazon does it.
@BrownandWeiss inked playmats is the company I use. Very easy to use site for it. Dragon Shield custom sleeves are expensive buy you get 100 sleeves, enough fir two decks
@@BrownandWeiss Yeah Dragon shield custom sleeves are like 25.00 but you get 100 instead of 50 or 60. Also if you do 3 packs of them you qualify for fast shipping. I do mine like that. For custom mats, Inked playmats is where it is at. The site is really really easy to use. I have no skills with pic editing or anything and I can do it. Custom mat is roughly the same as a mat from Amiami without the huge wait time.
@audrisampson i got to check out inked playmats!!! The dragon shields don't sound bad since after market is 20. So 25 isn't bad to get exactly what you want. Also, do these sites strongly enforce copyright? Like could I use anime art, or will they block you?

💯 you need oversleeves!!!!! It is a requirement. When people raw dog their sleeves, it really triggers me 😆

I'm feeling the same. As someone who is just a casual English player, I've been pretty disappointed in the announcements . Oceania is just a big tease of what we can't have. Like you said perfectly, it feels like give up or play JP . I don't want to memorize cards. Wiess has the better art and better gameplay. I wish it was more accessible in card shops and better IPs in EN. The only thing iv been looking forward to is Frieren, and the next thing I look forward to is Dandadan IF it comes to EN, which would be over a year. Making it a pretty big gap between those two without an EN original.
Waiting for en sets sucks ;/, they were able to move up nikke, wish they would do that with more sets.
I agree with a lot of what you said. The gameplay is simple but super easy to introduce to anybody which will lead to its inevitable success, similar to One Piece TCG. It’s taken months for me to teach my boyfriend how Weiss works and he is still learning. That’s also a huge draw for me though as I enjoy when games have high skill ceilings and UAs gameplay feels very restrictive and bland.
@MannyGamboaTV I completely agree. It'll probably be a fun side game for me for now for that reason.

Union was pretty easy to learn, there is a lot more shops holding events in the IE so it feels a lot more accessible, and the community is new so feels as if a lot of people are learning at the same time so it not overly competitive yet .The IPs coming out are so awesome . I hope Wind Breaker comes to EN . 🤞

man I was exactly the same, the first few episodes and the characters all seemed too childish, same with killua having a skateboard it was like is this the simpsons? Then Gon had a fishing rod I was like bruh this is meh so I just couldn't get into it back in like 2012 or whenever. I'm glad I tried it again this year because yeh it's honestly soooo good haha

@Kodiack308 It's a community thing thats hard to learn because alot of names come from cards that came out years ago and some names are from the JP version of the game. Sometimes, conversations are just people naming different cards when they could just say the effect. People will even argue which card name should be used. And I'm like, you could just say what the card does 😂

Glad you liked MyGo! I really liked the original Bang dream stuff but MyGo didn't really resonate with me. That TD was hella fun though. Bought it myself. Make sure you hunt down the promos for the mygo TDs. There are several that really help the MyGO td work well and keep it MyGo theme. Hello Happy world isn't idol lol. Its Pastel Palettes that take after idol stuff. They are one of my favs along with Raise A Suilen lol. Pareo and Aya are best girls. Don't know if you caught it but the 1/0 Kasumi in the first pack is a pretty big deal. Its a reprint of a card from the first set that is really playable and 20.00 a copy in the N rarity from that set. It was by far the most expensive card you ripped.
I've been wanting to watch the original BD since I saw MyGo!!!!! but I can't find season 1 anywhere. Season 2 and 3 are easy to find though lol. I picked up the PRs and foiled out everything but the SPs are too expensive and hard to find :( Ahhhh I mixed them up!!! I saw a meme where chu chu bullied pareo and it made me sad. Yes! That card is expensive but why is it good? I don't see lists playing it. I'll have to check it out!! (I did buy stock swap buns, though. That card is insane!!!)

I'd like to see something along the lines of the 15th Anniversary Tournament PR packs they had in JP. A PR pack with cards from different IPs with a chance for High Rarity thrown in there and maybe reprints of some past exclusive PR cards from Blu-Rays, JP exclusives, Magazines etc.
That would be amazing!!! Maybe do some alt arts. I like the quints CD promos that are JP exclusive. I'd love those personally.
