I'm just a guy who's an N64 transcriptionist for fun.
I transcribe music with the Zelda OoT and MM soundfonts, and I make custom music for Majora's Mask (and OoT soon?) Randomizer. I transcribe usually entirely by ear alone (unless specified otherwise), and I mainly focus on other video game soundtracks for my music, but I plan to dip into classical as well. If I make something that I think is worth your time, I'll post it here :)
FANARTIST(S) WANTED: I'm planning to transcribe/cover a large amount of music in the SM64 and Zelda64 soundfonts for a few videos I have some ideas for including classical music and bigger soundtracks, and I want an artist to make SM64&OoT/MM-themed artwork to go with them. If you're interested, please email me!

Holst: Mars, The Bringer of War, but it's in the SM64 and Zelda64 soundfonts (The Planets, Op. 32)
That's no moon... it's MARS! Happy Halloween, everyone!
It's a full-blown orchestral mockup! Hopefully the first of many :) I arranged the first movement from Gustav Holst's now 105 years-old suite- "The Planets, Op. 32: I. Mars, The Bringer of War" entirely using the Super Mario 64 and Zelda OoT/MM soundfonts, and I'm proud of how it sounds. If you enjoy it, please leave a like for my belated birthday and consider subscribing!
For this work, I tried my best to emulate the 'wall of sound' and booming intensity as one would hear in an orchestra hall performance, and I believe I achieved that. Using a MuseScore transcription by Frank Luna as a base, I arranged all the parts into their respect...

"Fight On!" From FFVII, but it's in the SM64 and OoT Soundfonts (Randomizer Custom Music)
Просмотров 612Год назад
Here's my transcription of the mini-boss theme, "Fight On!," aka "Those Who Fight Further" or "Still More Fighting" from Final Fantasy VII arranged in the Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time soundfonts! This is another one of my transcriptions from scratch by-ear, and the percussion was quite a doozy to deconvolute and follow along with while writing all the notes down, but I believe everything ...
Helmaroc King Boss Theme (Zelda64 Soundfont, Randomizer Custom Music)

Here is my own Zelda64-soundfont transcription of the Helmaroc King Battle Theme from Wind Waker rendered in a Majora's Mask Randomized ROM! This song is compatable with Majora's Mask Randomizer and can be acquired either in the Music Releases channel of the MMR Discord or from my Music Folder in the MMR MEGA.nz Music Repository.

One-Winged Angel (Zelda64 Soundfont, Randomizer Custom Music)
Просмотров 1,9 тыс.Год назад
Here's a remix of OWA from Final Fantasy VII (1997) I made in the Majora's Mask soundfont. This song is compatible as a custom song for Majora's Mask Randomizer (and eventually OoTR as well). A shoutout goes again to Isghj (github.com/isghj5) and darkychao who helped me figure out how to fine-tune release rates and instrument envelopes this time! Gohdan Boss Theme (Zelda64 Soundfont, OST + ALT Version)
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.Год назад
Here's my transcription of the Gohdan boss battle music from Wind Waker played in the OoT/MM soundfont! I included both the OST version and the music that actually plays during the Gohdan fight (ALT). Both OST and ALT versions are compatible as custom music for Majora's Mask Randomizer by downloading the .mmrs file(s) to your randomizer's music folder. You can obtain the mmrs files by joining t...

Bach: Toccata & Fugue in D minor, but it's played by Ganondorf (BWV 565, OoT Soundfont Organ)
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.2 года назад
Happy Halloween! Ganondorf has been practicing for this, so here is Toccata & Fugue in Dm by Johann Sebastian Bach (BWV 565) played on the OoT soundfont organ. This is in-game audio of a MM rom and is compatible with the MM Randomizer using the .mmrs file(s) available in the MMR Music Repo MEGA folder (mega.nz/folder/4g1xHbwL#pzE9l2KBs-kwCJJr6E6IKQ/folder/kstSTZ5D) or on the MMR discord. The Great Fairy meets Capussi (Vinesauce)
Просмотров 5 тыс.3 года назад
Corporate needs you to find the difference between Vinny's capussi laugh and the Great Fairy's laugh. (...They're the same sound) I used the N64 Sound Tool and replaced the Ocarina and great fairy sound samples with audio from Vinesauce Vinny (ruclips.net/video/elZ2hHlSWzE/видео.html). This is ENTIRELY IN-GAME footage, no post-record audio editing.
I always bring Locke with me to the final boss battle with the mad clown turned "God". Nice job, by the way.
The sound fonts between the two games are very similar, but theres definitely some sections where the differences stick out more because of that similarity.
Both soundfonts have pretty comprehensive orchestral instrument selections and samples with pretty solid quality given their games' hardware limitations, so the similarities are fairly organic and spontaneous. I did however tweak the release rates on some of the drums at the end so they'd abruptly cut off like the drums in FFVI. I also had to account for the men and women choirs' slow attack rates by shifting all their notes to start earlier to make it sound like they're hitting their beats on time.
Mod that makes the moon 8.75 times more massive and you need to do all the orcarina dungeons to get bonus giants
Fish flute of time
If Final Fantasy and the Legend of Zelda had a crossover.
Watched someone play a Zelda MM randomizer with this custom track used as the "Final Hours" theme. It was hilarious! "6 hours until Supernova destroys Termina"! XD
Hehe yeah it’s perfect for the final hours slot!
Kefka (to Ganondorf) : "Why so serious, mammas' boy? "
"You wanna know how I got these sandy boots?"
I've listened to this at least twice. I'm addicted.
Gannondorf on organ and Kefka on vocals
Zelda x Final Fantasy 6 Kingdom Hearts Character's Link Zelda Sora Ganondorf
This is pretty incredible. Nice work! @6:40 Decrecendo/Crecendo was pretty cool here!
Bass drum sounds so good in this
The run at 3:03 sounds so dynamic that’s my favorite part
@@kennethyee5161 I don't remember doing much mixing there- conveniently that's mostly an effect of the soundfonts; lower pitches tend to be quieter and vice versa
This is incredible , holy shiiiiiittt
Mars is 8.75 times as massive as the moon and can vary between about 135 to 1,104 times as far, which means that to crash it into Termina within the same amount of time, then, assuming negligible effect from gravity, relative momentum, or work required to direct the heavenly bodies to a specific location on the earth, it would require roughly between (8.75) * (135) = 1181 to (8.75) * (1104) = 9960 times as much force, and between (1181) * (135) = 160 thousand and (9960) * (1104) = 11 million times as much work
(Good work!)
What a nerd
What a nerd
Okay, thanks for the input, Kenneth XD -That said, it's just 11 million times more unfortunate for Termina now that Mars is approaching them
Nerd
You did an awesome job at transposing this. I love hearing it whenever it shows up in Majora's mask Rando!
IMPOSSIBLE !!! he combined the master of evil and the master of the organ! HE IS TOO POWERFUL!!! 😱

kills me how the box art says "3 discs"... if only nintendo had listened

Wisdom… Courage… Power… What are they? Where do they come from? With the Tri Force… I shall destroy all…
Malon singing this depressing song to Epona towards the end.
If only Square Enix (Squaresoft at the time) could have made Final Fantasy 6 for the N64, I would have found this greatness years earlier.
Yeah, right? I mean I first heard this, the Prologue, Terra's theme, and Celes' theme way back in the 00's in an old RUclips Poop called "Final Spaghetti II," but it wasn't until 2018 when 8-Bit Music Theory made a video about those songs that I learned they were all from FFVI, and just because of the music, it became my first and favorite Final Fantasy game. Easily one of the strongest soundtracks of all time IMO.
Lore of Dancing Mad (Zelda64 Soundfont) momentum 100
Well, now I know where Dancing Mad third tier came from.
what if ganondorf battle was inside castle with 4 stages: floor 1-phantom ganon floor 2-ganondorf sword fight (like in twilight princess) floor 3-ganondorf sorcerer floor 4-demon king ganon
Wow 💖💖💖💖
Anyone else expecting the Ganon laugh from Ocarina of Time?
I, uh, made that version too... for MM Rando... but not until one week later ;_; Kinda wish I thought of that first because that would've made the most sense >_<
Good sound quality
Bruh 💖💖💖💖💖
Actually crazy that this is even possible to hear in game, amazing work!
This sounds so bizarrely good on the n64 soundfont, lol. I specially love that part with the MM's Clock sound ❤ jsjshsj But overall it's difficult to tell it is even a remix to begin with - which is good XD (at least early on a lot of people could be fooled 👀)
Can you remove the "3 DISCS"?
Ah shoot, good point as this is supposed to be on an N64, but the best I can do is change the thumbnail, sadly.
I don't believe you did this by ear, but I'm impressed at how good it sounds.
Your disbelief is very flattering. Thank you! To be fair though, I did need help with the almost-inaudible pedal/kick drum from 7:07 to the end, and with the organ jazz solo at 8:04.
Perfect lmao
A Majoras mask font would be Insanity👀👀👀
It mostly is, actually! The OoT and MM fonts are the same with a select few instruments exclusive to either game. For example, the church organ appears only in OoT, but the saxophone and electric piano/rock organ instruments only appear in MM.
😮💨😮💨I’d love to hear that one day tbh, I mean narratively majora and kefka are so similar and with both of them combined it would be something beyond chaos🔥🔥
Amazing job btw🫶🏼sorry I forgot to mention that before 😌🔥
This is too good
Holy shit, this is absolutely incredible even without considering that you transcribed the entire piece by ear!? You absolutely deserve my sub and deserve thousands, no, MILLIONS more! Keep up the great work! :))
It's super validating to know that there're even a few people who enjoy what I like making; thank you so much! 😁 (Though to be fair, that jazzy organ solo 16th-note shredding in the final movement just before the slowdown was a bit too jarbled for me to entirely follow even slowed down, and I had to consult 8-Bit Music Theory's video to correct my guesses, and "Mad Square Dancing" helped for transcribing the kick/pedal drum, too)
Ganondorfs head fits surprisingly well on Bachs body 😂
This was his "warmup" piece before he got to play his own leitmotif (Ganon's Message) in OoT. (Probably picked it up from the shmup enemies in GYRUSS (which had T&F in Dm as the game's )whole theme in the arcade and NES versions).
Dude.... Id say this remix is up their with the likes of Sangnoksu and Shnabubula in terms of perfecting the dancing mad asthetic in a different scenario. Awesome job! ^u^👍
I've heard a little of either of their works and they're very good. That is some serious praise... I wonder if I'll be able to live up to that...
Third
Lost it at Malon
like mario 64 soundfont GOOD
Nice work, always love to see more dancing mad.

Get retk, Kenneth
Just imagining how scary a Ganondorf and Kefka team up would be
You mean replacing that jeweled circlet with something that makes it do as it’s told 😆
Don't give me nightmares my guy
Kefka would try to manipulate Ganondorf and vice versa
I honestly don't think they would get along
Fuck that. Imagine Kefka with Majora's Mask.
Surprisingly good, very high quality. This is going to blow up
I hope so
I’ve been waiting for this a whole 2 years 😭
It's criminal. Criminal that this only has 99 views, and 1 comment. Seriously it's one of the better Dancing Mad arrangements. Don't get discouraged by the low view count please. You have potential.
This sounds so good! All the instruments fit very well, great job!
Why didn't RUclips recommend this sooner
Good lord, RUclips recommended this video? I'm honored
@@ainurmusician64 as it should, for some reason RUclips has been reccomending me capussi related shitposts but I'm all for it
