All good training serves to improve heuristics. Your strategic point of you and trained course of action should be one as indeed, under duress, you will fight as you have most trained. If a position isn't a platform you can transition to tools from, it isn't one to prioritize in your training. As form follows function so should your jiujitsu follow what it serves. #policejiujitsu #pjj #defensiv...

    It's sad that people who copy techniques never tell where they took it from and give credit. The so called helmet is originally the pensador from Keysi or the Shape form Defence Labs DNA Fighting method.

      @@isrmatrix so? Justos fighting style was created in the 80s. And with Andy Norman it was popular with Batman Movie. And in the clip above it's clearly visible since all the in-between is not existing.looked at your clips, an the old ones don't show anything similar. The oldest Clip is 15 years ago, and no "helmet" 😉😉😉. All these clips with new names for the techniques came to show after we opened the video platforms and did Seminars in the US. Look at TriTac Martial Arts. They used to represent Defence Lab in the states. As well as Steven Baker, who now represents Keysi.

      @@DefenceLabDeutschland again. Our VHS tape with the helmet came out in 1999. Show me anything from them at that time or before. Also this, the helmet is NOT anything close to what they use. It’s not a system but a tactic. We have police videos and have run police courses and have had military contracts worldwide using the helmet as a tactic and not a system. Do your research.

      We teach, train and approach with an emphasis on transition and increasing positional dominance around the individual and not any dogma for that reason. We teach courses for small framed officers and use the same system but adjust options given size, weight, and strength differences.

  • @patriotsmakeready.1066
    @patriotsmakeready.1066 5 месяцев назад

    Love the simplicity of it that officers sometimes forget. Grabbing an officers weapon justifies lethal force. Battling over the long gun, officers are focused on winning the battle for that weapon, instead of winning the war for your life. Keeping the long gun from the suspect gaining complete control just long enough to draw your side arm for some contact shots, that's how you win the war!

    I really don’t know how I feel About that? It looks good but with resistance?

    • @isrmatrix
      @isrmatrix 9 месяцев назад

      We teach and train it with progressively incremental pressure and resistance depending on wether it’s an into seminar or class or part of a course. The strategy and tactics are outlined and then through initially isolated drills, participants are coached to perfect their technique. This likewise maintains safety and prevents injury. As to levels of resistance, the end goal is to get to a point where everyone knows how far to take it and watches out for one another but yes, it’s been tested under full resistance and depending on the department and DT trainers, it has been trained differently throughout the world. The strategic POV and tactics remain fundamentally the same but like all ISR Matrix material, you can easily integrate or add material to them. The other factor that is seldom discussed is that of limits to removing someone from their vehicle depending on many factors such as size and attributes of LEO versus that of subject. If the subject knows “counter abduction” type of tactics and is strong and determined not to come out, brining in several officers becomes less and less technical and more about pure pressure and power. Though we teach partner and team tactics, we also prove that at some point, it is the intelligent choice to go to tools and or K-9. There is a spectrum and at some point, hand to hand tactics will reach their limits. What you see in this video is the starting point and measure of where along that spectrum officers will be working. Within courses it is all discussed as much as tested. Thank your for the comment and questioning.
