Hi... Love from sri lanka.❤️❤️🔥 And this is my you tube channel also about Batik. ❤️
Love the color and the motif! The final outlook looks absolutely amazing! May I please know if you guys removed the was ( the hot water step) after the fabric is dry or it's ok to remove the wax when the fabric is still wet? Thank you so much!
Hey! We typically remove it when it’s wet (after the last dye has oxidized).
what meteriel is this?
Cotton Batik
In the '60s we made ours with wood and copper. If I were to do it now, I would use wood and aluminum. Maybe even from recycled cans. Damn, that's a good idea.😊
@@moniquecaton3285 interesting!!

My large piece of batik art, is probably my favorite piece of art. You do beautiful work!
Peace be upon you, it is very, very beautiful, my sister. Is the design made of sponge? What is this material that you put the design in? Is it dye? Can I do this with any color of dye and it gives me this beautiful shape? It is very beautiful. Please reply. Thank you.
Yes it’s dye. Yes you can use any color of dye, but you do need a foam to stamp on the wax
Lovely! I like the varied sprinkles, myself. It looks more handmade, more natural than it would if the sprinkles were regular. Good work! :)
How do you make the batik?
Hello. Thanks for an explanation of the technique. These textiles are lovely!
