Kinda late, but if the nozzle clicks, then the tank is full. If the fuel guage reads less than full after, then the sending unit (float) is off. By clicking the nozzle, you will push fuel I to the evap canister, causing issues. Hop this helps someone.

Those inline 6 engines last as ling as toyota 4 runners. Built tough. Im in your same situation with vehicles. Rather buy older well maintaned vehicle and ride the rims off of it. About to buy a 2007 for 700$ it has an issue right now though...but i know i can fix it.😅😂
