Welcome to Poolroom and this is the first video of my road to make a 100+ break in straightpool. It is a personal goal I want to achieve.
I will be explaining my shot choices so hopefully you can improve your pool game as well.

First time using VN for video editing, I still have a lot to learn and mostly use capcut to edit but I absolutely hate the watermark they use now in Capcut

Perfect! How do you find the carbon cue?
@@rossdonnelly3951 love the carbon cue, the feel of the shot is always the same. For some players it takes a while to adjust when switching from wood to carbon, but for me it felt great from the start. Before I was playing with the predator z2 shaft and now the revo 11.8

@Poolroom-tips-tricks lol..the bottle I use is a1982 coke bottle UNC basketball championship 🏆 Michael Jordan hit the winning shot against Georgetown, If I did that, I'm sure Coke would grow all over my table 🤣

@@thetalkingtoucan3137 not really, it’s a simonis 860 tournament blue cloth its on my table now for 10 months. Still thight, the rail rubbers are still the original so over 25 years old so they might be slower than new tables

What ruleset is this? Just straight pool?
@@Illusion666 just a break and run of the table with no order of play, but it is a call shot challenge. So no wacking the balls a see if you get lucky. The more balls the more difficult this challenge becomes. I do have plans to make even higher runs😎

Am I dumb? How are the balls hitting the wall and rolling alongside the wall in the pocket, like the table is tilted? Is that actually the spin?

Why did you call some shots and not others?
@@samsmith6089 good question, so this challenge is like in 8-ball or straight pool a call shot game. Meaning I have a free choice of shot but you have to call the ball you intend to pot. Just like in 8-ball when the shot is obvious you do not have to call it. So I only call the less obvious pots.
Might have been looking too closely, but seems like the shot to pot the 13 @3:50 was a double hit. Ran forward unnaturally with topspin after jumping up. Really tough cueing and very hard to spot. Impressive clearance regardless.
There was no foul in that shot, but good you are paying close attention 👊

I know what you mean about last nights shot selection. I had $200 on Izzy lol😬. He pulled it off by a miracle on 8 ball bought lost it back on 10 ball. Everybody broke even 😅. It was much closer than I expected lol.

@@Poolroom-tips-tricks on my crazy spot livestream. OG and I had $300 against Danny. Imagine Danny giving the last 6 balls and still playing at that level with that money riding on it. He considered that a warm up match for his $5k matches 😂.
