I'm second generation Irish in America the Adamson family, my cousin Phil Tomkins wrote a book Twice the Hero about my great uncle George Adamson, and mentioned my Grandfather Joseph Josey Adamson, some day I'd like to meet with my family, wishing all my family across the pond all the best.

Just taking a look. My family came from Clogheen in 1823 and 1825 to just outside Ottawa. It’s a town that holds a special place, almost mythic place in my heart. Thank you so much for posting. I wonder if there is still a fairy tree in the vicinity?

Thank you for a trip down memory lane. At 0.40 in the video, it was lovely too see my great grandfather's (Daniel Delaney) grocer shop which is now Corcorans Pub.

On July 11, 2021 there was a mass protest around the whole island. The people want freedom, democracy, multi party elections, justice, separation of power. The totalitarian dictatorship in power do not want to let go of power. Their people are dying of hunger, disease, and abuses at the hand of their oppressors. They are unarmed and all the money, even tourist dollars, are used to keep the Cubans in line.

Born in 83, I can remember from being a young lad coming over to Ireland and staying in the Erris area for the summer holidays seeing family and being at the Fair Day it was full of people also home for the holidays from all over Ireland and England
