i missed playing these old school games, runescape classic was my jam, i would play it everyday on my dial up internet after school, eventually even got a rs gf which turned out to be a hacker, stole everything from my acc and messed up my pc, good times. can't really do stuff like that anymore since life, responsibilities and survival. missed those days where i was a kid

It's pretty sweet how there's still people playing these old games and that some seem happy to talk to new players! Me and my siblings used to play some mmos back in the day but sadly, they're gone and there's no fan version available.

I remember here in Australia McDonalds teamed up with Knowledge Adventure/Jumpstart way back in the day, and you could get 1 of 3 Jumpstart games with your Happy Meal. It was a pretty rad deal, especially if you were into those games

As a former, avid player of FusionFall, and being… somewhat a member of the revival community, Fusionfall was something you just had to be apart of at the time to, really enjoy it for what it had. Not only that, but you had to have the money to play it, because the MMO’s of our time are what we would consider like Gatcha games now in days. I don’t really care much for the FF community anymore, because the revival of it was something I wanted to look at, go “Oh cool” and move on from. I did try to be apart of it at one point, but what got me to be less involved was how toxic the members and fans of the community was, and it lead me to believe that, the community couldn’t give a fuck about me, so I left. The only other games out there that I’ve played before like: City of Heroes (Which I only played like once or twice, and thought it was weird.), and… I think that’s it. MMORPGs aren’t a big thing as much as people want them to be anymore, more kids are trying to be involved in games that are more on the Gatcha side, so they’re sadly a thing of the past. Most of the MMORPGs I’ve played are either shells of their former selves, or they’re all dead, and I’ve kind of grown to respect that. I don’t like the FF community, since they’ve left a sour taste in my mouth, since a lot of them are very… nerdy, yet disgusting, but I’ve grown to appreciate other things in life that, don’t lead me down that path. To be frank, I think it’s virtually similar to fans of WOW or LOL, but their fanbase was kind of, just there… in that moment.

Abandoned game i've ever played? Maybe san andreas multiplayer. Ikr it depends on the servers. I remember when playing in a server when it was had many players, and now just me alone. When i switched to other server, it feels like not same as before.

Seeing fusion fall on the thumbnail hooked me in. I loved that gaming growing up. Found some fan made one called fusion fall retro, and they were making an updated even cooler version called legacy. Got hit with a dmca take down i think and i lost the ability to play. To this day i still hope ill someday be able to playthrough to max level and see some endgame loot and content with my own eyes. Edit: glad to hear that he's playing it through a fan client as that means I can do the same lol. Gonna check it out

I actually played the Toy Story game on Gameboy as a kid. Ive never seen anyone else play it lol. I beat the game beginning to end, its such a challenge
