Hi! Thank you. Yes, it is always tricky finding other players. Where are you based? I started off by posting to Django Facebook groups asking to see if there were players in my area and got a lot of response. I think that would be a good start for you! There are also forums online that you could post to asking about jam sessions near you.

@@LewisKilvington I live in Stockholm and i'm 16 which is annoying since i find no one my age liking or playing this music.. They´re usually middle aged men who hang around at bars where im not allowed. But i´ll try with facebook thx!

@@oldmaterizz4516 I know how you feel! I first started searching when I was 17. Most people you’ll play with will be middle aged/old guys at first (Which obviously is fine!). But you will meet people you age eventually, just keep looking and contact some groups 👌

@@21Million I think alongside the visual aspects of learning licks, it’s also important to learn to play by the sounds and using your ear. That’s how I learnt these licks! But I understand it would be easier for beginners to learn these licks with the dots! 😂👍🎸

¡Hola! Definitivamente puedes obtener más volumen sin retroalimentación con el lugar LR baggs conectado con él. Además, si montas el micrófono de Audio Technica internamente (como hice yo en el vídeo), es mucho mejor. Yo diría que no obtendrías tanto volumen como con un piezzo, pero no está muy lejos :) ¡Espero que esto ayude!

@@LewisKilvington I'm like that at the moment with some Samba drum patterns. So frustrating, but SO satisfying when I lock them in for a couple of seconds. I guess it's what keeps us coming back to the instrument.

Thanks Paul! It’s a beauty. I like to use either a Killy Nonis 3mm pick or a Dunlop gator 2mm pick. I think I was using the Dunlop on this video. Action is around 2.5-2.75mm at the low e string. 👍🎸
