Wow, nice car and can't wait to see more of it. Please check if the tank has 2 fuel send units, as there is no joining pipe at the bottom. Also interest in the fuel pump, is if different to ours or not.

The s in 325is doesn't mean sport. It refers to the level of trim. It is a shadowline model. The beadings, the rooflining etc have been blacked out, giving it a "shadowline" effect. The problem is that sometimes the roofling was grey. I dont know with bmw lol

Yes the imports didnt have the extra 20l fuel tank below the parcel shelf, was only an sa thing for the distances we had between fuel stations those days. If you look at the fuel guage it is different too we have the extra "block" on the guage in the Sa cars compared to the import models thats for the extra 20l's to full. A friend of mine had a 325i Sport in the Netherlands his was also an auto Jap Import LHD. The car was light grey metalic with the mech 2 kit dolphin grey.

I must admit something different to what we have in SA but a common factor remains rust still dominates 😂lol this is gna be an awesome build excited for the outcome

Sanjay, you got a plan for the intake boot? I see the radiator fan looks different to my one. This one has more blades. My one has the normal e30 fan but two brackets specific to 333. I have a plan for the diff and engine oil temp sensors. I think I have some spare ones lying around somewhere at home.

I have never seen a black triple 3 before, were there any that wer produced Diamond black OEM? Look forward to see the end result of this restoration, it couldnt be in better care.
