Hey quick tip, it might benefit more to move the guitar a little further from the camera a it seems each time the body passes near the lens it massively puts it out of focus. You could try taking the video from father and cropping it so it appears farther (like 4-6 inches). But that in itself might have quality problems, worth a shot tho!
@@Saplaboo good point! I appreciate it!
Hello
Hi
Is it weird to want to plant your pinky on the top of the guitar below the 1st string?
@@Greenjagsurf Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Different strokes for folks, or sometimes I think different strokes for different techniques. What works for you?
My father loved music as much as me! This song is for him!

Improvising a new Tremolo Melodic idea at the Beach! (Clip 1 from Make Music Here is live!)
Don’t fingernails make it harder to lay guitar? I never grow mine out
Some people like nails or without. I keep my filed smooth and about the same shape and length of fingers more or less. In classical technique sometimes it worked to plant the finger pad right before the nail, or both nail and pad resting the string before plucking. Depth of the finger nail or string and how smooth the nail is can make a big difference.
🎉
Also get a pick with a speed bevel 😎dunlop primetone 1.5mm
@@KwameCrawford Good point! Is that your favourite pick for single string picking?
www.youtube.com/@makemusichere?sub_confirmation=1
:)
Also don't put half your pick in between the strings always play with just the end of it so it sounds more graceful instead of a aggressive sound while you play chords
@@Christopher_kornegay goor point! Pick depth not below the string.
Yeah... Just hold it whichever way is the most comfortable, also, don't presume you know what you're talking about, like this douche...
Please give an example of what this does. Also if you can get like a clip on mic to catch your guitar volume better you'll get better numbers and its obviously more clear.
I second this! Is it an exercise, or is it a technique to use in songs? Also, your terraria pfp is great👌
Will look at upgrading mic, thanks for commenting! Bless you!
There is a full video attached to this short.
Terraria? 🤷♂️ This is part of larger video connected to the short talking through technique and demoing warm ups. Thanks for commenting! Bless you!
With a classical guitar weilded. Thanks
this is what improved my fast picking by a leap year.

No comments let me fix that

Practice is like polishing a stone, or sanding Timber. A gentle, relaxed repetition over time will smooth the stone, or the Timber. Staying on one small section with a relaxed, slow repetition creates a smooth effortless technique. You'd be surprised how smooth one can get practicing, 1, 2, or 3 notes in a gentle and relaxed way for a multiple of reps 5-20 or so. It's the lack of reps, and lack of relaxed smooth gentleness that often becomes the stumbling block in learning the music or techniques we want. This requires; patience, calm breathing, slow practice, relaxed muscles, and finding an efficiency of motion. Sanding too many parts at a time, with too much force is not as efficient in creating a smooth or efficient result. Smooth is fast, and fast is smooth. However we can't get smooth if we aren't patient, gentle, or repetitive in small measured portions.

Thank you for clearly showing thw chords
Thank you!
caged system is great for connecting the chords, and finding a specific sound anywhere on the fretboard, but to say there are only 5 shapes on guitar without any added content is just disingenuous and misleading lmao.
@@jakersdfs7921 thanks for your comment! More content coming to help students connect the dots. The point of this video is to show the 5 shape Foundation, not all the connections that branch from it, that is in the entire course. Stay tuned. Have a great day Jake!
This helped me
Should it be E minor?
Good point, I wanted to show how blue letter are Major, then the red letter and arrow shows how to change the chord in a minor chord. Thanks for commenting on the channel!
It's not to memorize all them. It's to have all them so when you want to learn one you can go memorize it
@@tavismacdonald7759 ya, with formulaes, theory, you can figure all of them out, without memorizing 40,000 shapes. The theory of how chords are put together allows a guitarist to find all the chords without a book.
@@makemusichere EXACTLY. I have a shit ton of formulas memorized and the circle of fifths. So I know every sharp or flat in every key
