FAMILY & FRIENDS | PART 2 - ANNUAL KID TRIP LAKE CASITAS 7/23 - BASS ON!
Final couple days of a great trip. These kids are amazing and trip to hang out with. The guys finally got out and got some fishing in and Randy killed it. Also last day we got out with our buddy Rich over at Rich Tauber fishing richtauberfishing.com/ and Val smashed it again check out fish photos at the end.

We hit Lake Castaic word is that stripper bite was on we seen a few boils but no luck. The bass were jumping on our lines. Left after half day, was 110 heat. We been getting some nice fish at Lake Casitas so its been hard to fish anywhere else. Hop spot Randy and I headed out with couple bassin buddies to show them the hot spots on the Lake. nice vid man. did you guys dipnet shad with him? im assuming thats what you guys were using as bait. how much did it cost to go out? shad is good but hard to get from shore like i am 99% of time and i dont think can use em in tournaments but if you can get em they make the day of fishing a little easier to catch fish. nice ones man. cya
jdogg661420 Bass we're hitting on night crawlers and shad. Rich netted some from the morning he had all the bait covered by him. Randy had his hit on a shad color swim bait and rest we're on shad. We fished worms, etc.. but was the later evening bite on live shad right outside the grass line right off the shore line. Bass we're darting out the grass lines to hit the bait. Wasnt to bad split between us, money wise learned a lot, Rich showed us alot on what to look for and his advice on what to do and use and when. Was worth it for us had a great time. thx for the comments can't wait to see your next videos. hope you hook up on a nice one soon.

damn what time did you guys get there i always wondered if there is a fat line in the early morning. i never get out till like 1030am and stay till like around 2-6 depending from shore. that wasnt a little bluegill that was a good one man. check out my new vid there is a lot of those little dinks out there, and a lot of bass fry. thats why its hard to get the big ones. all your bluegills were nice man. your friend got a decent bass too. for me its rare to get a striper though i got a couple in my trifecta vid. those are the only two non dink ones i got. though i know guys do get them from boats and i heard that a few days ago someone got a 32# striper from the dam... gl out there
