Great cruise. Average gratuuty for a couple for 7 day cruise is 300 eur.

Love it boys. Coming from New Zealand to do the same cruise in June next year.

My mum went on this ship her friend got ill so had to go to hospital but she wasn't allowed to stay on board either even though she was fit n well her holiday was cancelled she currently at 86 stuck in Inverness Scotland in a motel on her own no luggage it's just awful n crazy

Hi. Great video. 👍 Re the sofa bed, what do you do with the table and chairs when it’s pulled out ? Wondering about space in the cabin and if it’s put back to a sofa every day for more space and if the butler does that for you ? Also wondering if it’s only ever a sofa bed or if double bunk an option as we had that recently (not in yacht club). Thx so much for any info

I saw Viking Jupiter back in august 2019 in Tallinn, Estonia. We were on Queen Victoria and berthed next to her. Then a few days later I saw the Viking Jupiters sister ship the Viking sea in St. Petersburg! I assume Viking Jupiter was brand new back then!

Viking certainly spoilt us for other cruise lines. Paul and I do like a more sedate style of travel, indeed we often skip ports to stay onboard in port; to enjoy being spoilt on a deserted ship. Not that the Viking ships are ever busy. But you can never have too much of a good thing. Loving the videos

Let's hope #cunard does something about the tv, like fitting a swivel hinge behind so it can be pulled out. It serves absolutely no use whatsoever as it is.

What happens if you surrender your passport in Tenerife, then 5 days later you dock somewhere and someone asks for ur passport when ur in a different country? Then what do u say? Cause when I went to Madeira we were told that passports were mandatory and there was actually a security guard waiting to see ur passports. Or what happens if ur ill in a certain port and u need to get to hospital, so u leave the ship and go to hospital and then the ship leaves the port without u, then what do u do without a passport? Out of everything I find that absolutely bombaric, especially how I always bring my passport with me when getting off the ship incase I need it!☺️ Also, I assume Aida offer English menus in the restaurants and the entertainment is English too?☺️

I found out that travel agents do special training with the cruise lines and get premiere status right away even on their first trip… That hardly seems fair.

We're looking forward to sailing on the Jupiter in 2025. However in 2023 we sailed on Oceania Riviera twice and absolutely loved it. As you guys would say "very nice".

I would have to spend about $250K to have any meaningful status on Oceania. Hotel status is much more valuable to me.

What that means is that passengers are less likely to show up for dinner in the main dining room with shorts and sneakers. :-)

Viking is both excellent and overall great value considering what is included - my husband, Paul, and I have enjoyed 7 Viking cruises. With a 14-day Transatlantic; Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale in December. A great value repositioning cruise with loads of sea days. Our second TA with Viking - and in warm climates Viking has deck barbecues on the Aquavit Terrace, open air pool parties and movies under the stars by the main pool; with Bluetooth Bose headphones 😮 = again, thanks for a great video 🎉

We've done about 10 Viking cruises, including four ocean cruises, each on a different ship. The planetarium on Jupiter seemed to be on the Explorers' Lounge upper level. On most of their ocean ships this is additional seating and display cases with ship models, each model from a Norwegian exploration voyage. Each Viking ship has a different set of models, one of the few differences among their ocean ships. We've been very impressed with Viking's consistent high level of service, especially when my partner forgot her insulin and we had to have it overnighted from the US to Austria. The airport transfers are a big plus also.

Excellent cabin tour! Does the DV cabin come with storage drawers under the bed, and is there enough additional room under the bed to store two medium (26 inch) checked bags? We're looking forward to sailing on Jupiter in several months, and we're trying to decide between the Deluxe Veranda or the Penthouse Veranda. Fyi, I need a softer mattress for my back, so I heard you can ask for a mattress topper.
