Helpful tip: When editing video, what you hear in your headphones/speakers is irrelevant in terms of loudness. You gotta rely on your meters. Try to get your levels around -6 dBu without peaking out at 0. This video is super quiet compared to all the videos I just scrolled through.

Been using these for years to run copper cable and fiber optic lines. There's actually another model with a different style lock for the gate which I prefer, but both work well . They're great for manholes too cause you have so many options of tying them up in place. Different styles of hooks and shackles are available for the top. They're rated for something between 1500 or 2500 lbs if I remember.

Only downfall of steel toes are if they get completely worn out and you drop something heavy on your foot it can cause the steel to tear lose from the actual boot. I had 2 broken toes and 11 stitches from that happening. But that was just a freak accident. Had them boots for 3 years and I should have just got another pair but I’m a tight wad.

I see definitely advantage to the design of this hat. The front brim takes rain water away from face. The back draws water away from the neck and shoulders, same as a fireman's helmet. Good E.D.C. features. Only one drawback I can see is wind lift. Don't leave it in a open truck bed.

got a pair to see what all the hype was about, wore it to work (concrete contractor) and like all my other boots it was done in 6 months. The soles actually wore out faster than any boot Ive ever had. I wont be spending almost $300 on a boot when a pair of $170 Georgias are as comfortable and last longer. I actually hate the microscopic "quick lace" hooks on the thorogoods also

Have to say, I bought 2 pairs of thorogoods and unfortunately I’ve been very disappointed with the quality. for some reason mine haven’t held up. I really wish they did cause they are nice looking and comfortable boots. Many of my issues have to do with the outsole peeling off.

How do people wear the heels tho 💀 as a carpenter I’ve loooooved loved looooved my thourogoods so much. I’ve had 2 pair waiting on my third but this time I got the 8”. Need them flats to walk too plate and joists while landing stuff with the crane or work up there in general. Plus I found the heel uncomfortable in store when I tried em on for shits n giggles
